Appearance: Pours chalky white, foamy - rocky, cloudy, sparse head, some minute lacing, very irregular in structure, for such a thin Pale Lager, body is perfectly clear and bright golden, not poor yellowish what is really a nice surprise. Carbonation of body is visually medium.
Aroma: Chalky, graphite, accidic accents, some hoppy mildness and quite well pronounced grains of malt, not sweet, denouncing a soft, highly carbonated but positive taste, simplicity.
Flavour: Extremely metalic, rusty, accidic, graphite, mineral, carbonated like fizzy drink or soda to be more precise, front is wattery and a bit sweet, but later on comes this kind of strange and add a bit funny rusty metalic palate and aftertaste. Generally soft and kind of easy going, but due to its aftertaste a bit disturbing. Its better to dine with it so as to kill the kind of unpleasant aftertaste. Despite that, not terrible and easily tolerable. Finish duration is short to medium despite its wattery taste.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is quite lively. Finish feel is definitely metalic, old rubber accents and diacetyl, apart from this impressions - similar to water.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2007
Anaemic gold pour with creamy white suds. Lemony shower gel snout. Surprisingly smooth bodied and lacy. Distantly grainy, metallic and bready. Not unpleasant, just astonishingly insipid. Probably the most watery-tasting beer I’ve ever sampled.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Radek Kliber (5308) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - MAY 30, 2006
Can Krotoszyn. Pale gold with white average head. Very light aroma, faint malty character. Dry palate, high carbonation with thin malt presence. Short, boring finish. Nothing like bigger brother.
