Fix Helles (GR) 330ml can purchased (at Lidl) and consumed Greece. Clear amber body looks like apple juice. The good sized head has poor retention. Aroma: earthy hops. Flavor: earthy hops. Mild bitterness. O: worse than most other pilsners.

Pours golden with medium white head. Malts and grass aromas. Light body, fizzy carbonation. Short dry bitter finish. Typicall German industrial lager.

Can .33 from Lidl Portugal. Way to intense hoppy aroma as well as malty and a bit roasted. Fizzy head with good lacing though. Harsh bitter flavor with long finish. Light body and dry texture. Avoid.

Alengrin (2994) - BELGIUM - FEB 19, 2015
Can from a Lidl supermarket, tasted years ago. This was a pale golden blonde standard lager with medium, snow white head; weak aroma, grainy, sourish hint, some grassy hops, minerals. Neutral taste, slight pale malt sweetness, minerally with strongish carbonation and metallic ’touch’ to it, watery finish with a late and brief, medium, grassy hop bitterishness. Very bland, but not off-putting and okay for its style. Serves its purpose as a cheap supermarket ’generic’ kind of lager.

0.5l can. Clear golden color with white head and medium/high carbonation. Aroma of grass, grain and something like apple. Taste is medium bitter, little sweet and sour. Not as bad as the score says.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 2A). Can 33 cl - Batch 04:13. AROMA: grainy aroma. no to very faint hop aromas. APPEARANCE: golden color and translucent. average white head with low retention. TASTE: dilluted grainy sweet flavour with medium bitterness that lingers into a semi-dry finish. no hop flavours. PALATE: light body with low carbonation. OVERALL: a slight watered down bulk german pilsner that lacks noble hops presence.

Ik dronk dit helder gouden bier met mooie witte schuimkraag uit het 0,5l blik. Aroma lokt niet echt met deze muffe moutgeur. Waterig in de mond met bitterige afdronk. Laat deze aan U voorbijgaan...

From a 33cl can. Pours pale golden with a very thin white head. Looks like applejuice, but also like piss... Hmmm... Nose is unpleasant. Smells like cardboard, bit bready, far hint of sweetness... Honey? Orange-flavored cookies that are past its expiration date... Terrible. Taste... Sweat, milk, stale bread... No bitterness, no sweetness... Nothing. Watery texture, thinnish... Bad. Loveable if you like Perrier of Evian. Well... Sort of.
