3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale golden color, off-white head. Nice, if a bit subtle, aroma. Light taste. Easy drinking and refreshing. Crisp. Low-ish ABV makes this a great summer hanging out in the back yard beer. With a blonde ale, you should know what you are getting, and not down-rate it because it is not heavier or hoppier… light, crisp, refreshing, not bitter. Nice example of the style.

8/21/13 - 11 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours golden with a thick head. A very faint and slightly sweet aroma. Smells like a light beer. Very light tasting. Very Miller Lite-like. Another miss by Finnegans... Just not much here to enjoy.

12oz bottle pours a golden/yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, honey, hops, malt, and wheat. Taste is dry with grain and malt, finishing with bitter hops.

Boring blonde ale, some nice honey. Cool company, gives all profits to charity. I prefer their amber.

Dark Yellow Straw Color. Flavor is very basic with Yeasts, Barley and Malts; Surprising considering that it smells like a cardboard/corny adjunct lager. The palate is very heavily carbonated, way too strong for my liking, so much so that it gets in the way of enjoying the flavor. It also gives the impression of a heavy bodied ale when it really isn’t. It’s a decent tasting lager that’s grounded by some palate issues, fix the carbonation and this would be an awesome beer.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a white head. The aroma picked up honey and toasted grains with fruity accents.. surprisingly pleasant. The flavor found honey and grainy notes again at the core, with prickly carbonation, detergent, and fruity accents.. sharp and not as pleasant as the nose indicated.. finished zesty and bitter. Light-bodied and ugly on the palate.. OK overall, but it went downhill after the initial smell.

Stanley’s Beer Fest 10/6, BOTTLE. Aroma of grain and light sweetness. Taste is thin and blonde-esque, maybe a hint of bitter.

Not a good beer. Doesn’t have a ton of flavor and leaves a really bad after taste. Never..... Again....

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Mmm, man, I guess. Served at a nice temperature with a smallish, off-white head that slowly settles and some lace. Color is a clear amber with some large bubble trails. Aroma is malt and corn. Flavor’s like nose, sweet and carbonic tang up front and then - nothing. Somewhere there’s a hint of bitter, but it’s well disguised. Body is good in itself, but i know it’s from stacked sugars and the carbonation at least cuts through it in good fashion. Finish is like flavor, of average length, and totally forgettable.
