A pretty normal irish ale, nothing particularly fancy about it. Cheers!

On tap in Minneapolis. Not too bad. Kind of malty but rather characterless overall.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Finnegans has an aroma of yeast and grassy hops and malt. On sipping, I get a very strong taste of barley and malt. Thereís a rather savory taste as well, and slightly sweet. This is a decent beer, probably good for people who like lagers but want to move onto ales, and want a good transition beer.

Normally I donít like this style of beer too much, but this one took me by surprise a little on the first sip. Pours golden amber (like on the bottle haha) small amount of head that disappears very soon. This one is crisp and refreshing. Itís more a summertime beer, not sure why I grabbed this one other than it looked interesting. Nice use of hops, the biggest downside of this beer is it is too yeasty tasting.

On tap. Amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt with just a hint of hops. Tastes sweet, pretty thin. Potatoes? Not much going on.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A: The pour is a light amber color with a fluffy off-white head.
S: A pretty light and unimpressive nose overall with some light notes of grain and caramel.
T: Light in flavor as well with a strong adjunct character. Almost like glorified Budweiser, showing plenty of corn and grain.
M: Fitting in with the rest of the beer, the body is quite light and overly carbonated and fzzy.
D: Not a fan of this one at all. This was enough of an experience with this beer.

Amber and orange clear as day and bright as the sun smile back at me while a pithy white head fades into a splotchy blanket. There are random splashes of lace which pay no mind to a nose of toffee crunchies, melba toast, and harvested grains. Honey drifts by while lemon and apple skins vie for my attention. Brisk, crunchy, and light, she doesnít lack where it matters most: aroma and, as I am about to discover, flavor. Light and sweet, a subtle layer of honey coats my lips and never leaves. As each quaff glides across my tongue, lemon, apple skins, and sun-dried grains gather in the middle and never leave. A clean start and finish, as her flavors tease my tastebuds, bitter dryness gently preps me for each coming quaff. More honey flitters through the finish along with toffee and caramel crunchies. Light and sessionable, there is enough for me to savor but not so much that I canít just vegge and drink.
