UPDATED: AUG 12, 2009 330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. No GTIN code on the label, but the "Finnfest" commander general confirms that it is brewed by Van Steenberge. ABV is 4.5%. Ingredients include sugar. Clear pale golden colour, huge white head, no traces of sediment in the bottle. Sweetish "pale lager" aroma, notes of grass, some fruit and yeast. The flavour is moderately sweet with a somewhat sharp hoppy "bite" in the finish. Not a remarkably good beer, but drinkable.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and citrus on a lightly malty background. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, as well as lighter notes of metal and eggs, leading to a bitter and biting finish.

Golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with notes of bread and grain. Malty dry flavour with a faint hint of hops.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma had yeast, ester and malty notes. Flavor had phenol, malt, esters and yeasty notes. Lager?

33 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours clear and pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malty and slight cornish. Flavour is malty and mild citric bitter. Ends dry and citric bitter.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Pours a clear golden with a dense white head. Some unclean maltiness and a little yeast in the nose. Medium body, brewing cereal, sulphur and yeast. Dry and somewhat bitter finish. 250810

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours clear yellow with a off white head. Dry and grainy flavor. Lots of hay and grass. Medium to watery body. Dry short end.

Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, cereal, toasted, cardboard. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100814]
