Bottle share from Ron. I really like the winter warmer style winter beers vs. the spice bombs. This one has a very robust fall leaves nose, The color is auburn, clean. Palate is very very dry, nice carbonation. Flavors are nuts and caramel. Not bad.

Aroma: The nose is heavy malty and a little off, just not an enjoyable aroma
Appearance: This one pours a dark reddish color with a tan colored head and okay lacework
Flavor: The taste is much the same, malty and not great, nuts, spice, brown sugar, and soap
Palate: The body is medium, it has average carbonation, and a slightly unpleasant finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty mediocre to bad offering. I just didnít find much here to enjoy. Honestly, I donít know if they were pouring from a bad keg, but. It just tasted and smelled off.

Bottled. Medium to dark brown pour malty bready aroma. Similar taste with caramel and light hops. Ok but could use more daring.

grapefruit pith with a bit of sweetness and somewhat salty. hop character wafting in a difficult to discern muh about it. some wood and the brew remains caustic with a smooth malty finish.

Nice drawing on the label of FI in winter. This here is a malty amber with a nippy bite. Very nice fresh aroma. Flavors of bitter coffee and a dash of strong wine. This has a slightly heavy, off-kilter amber taste. Pretty good.

Despite the relatively low ratings this is one of my favorite beers. Itís easy to drink and full of flavor. Aroma isnít the strongest or most complex. Some hops, malt and alcohol are noticeable. Flavor is strong bready malt up front. This is followed by a nice amount of hops and caramel sweetness. It ends with some fruit, not too much but definitely noticeable, cherry and prunes. In my opinion it was actually a very nicely balanced beer.

Bottle. Cherry/raspberry, toffee malt and alcohol aroma. Chestnut color with minimal head. Slightly sweet toffee malt and moderately bitter/astringent alcohol flavor. Pretty rough.
