Location: Sampled at the NY Brewfest on Governorís Island, 6/19/10
My second Fire Island beer of the brewfest (I also had a Red Wagon IPA, but I had rated that one prior to the event). Anyway, there isnít much to say about this one, other then it is a very OK beer.

This stuff apparently is not widely available outside of Long Island (NY), but there is no need to make a journey to get a hold of some. It is apparently contract brewed by Saratoga. Nice label and pour. Light malty sweetness and mild hops made me think more of a lager than an APA. Pretty average brew.

good color, nice malt, smooth taste, subtle hops, a little smokey, the keg was a bit flat at Meehans in Long Island but I graded on what I thought the beer could be...opted for something that was drinkable than a heavy Guiness on St Patís Day to go with heavy food and was rewarded...a dependable beer...
