2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Slipstream (1555) - USA - JUN 18, 2010
This stuff apparently is not widely available outside of Long Island (NY), but there is no need to make a journey to get a hold of some. It is apparently contract brewed by Saratoga. Nice label and pour. Light malty sweetness and mild hops made me think more of a lager than an APA. Pretty average brew.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 micronaut129 (80) - chalfontborotowntonville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Hazy orange amber in color with hardly any head and then fades to nothing. Carbonation is very light. Smells of malts husks and other stuff.
Taste is bland and sad some malt and yeast.
It is smooth though so thats a plus but thats about it. Tastes waterdown and weak.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 kerenmk (414) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 6, 2012
Bottle. Beer of the month club. Cloudy amber, no foam. Nose: honey, citrus and ripe pear. Mouth: bitter with a hint of sweetness. Starts a little bland but gets better. Light body, medium carbonation, unimpressive finish but quite ok.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 19Ei8hty (997) - Washington, USA - JAN 19, 2012
Transparent straw body with a thin, quickly disappearing head. More stale malt, a little biscuity. A little leafy hop note, somewhat medicinal. Dry finish. Another nice buck on the label. How did he get in that canoe?
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 drowland (3900) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 22, 2011
12/22/11. 12oz bottle courtesy Cavie. Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head that goes away fast. Plain aroma of oxidation, caramel, and old, earthy hops. Similar flat flavor of old caramel and hops with a touch of chocolate. Meeehhhh.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DSG (3004) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 17, 2011
Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear copper-amber color with a short-lasting small white head. Aroma of cookie-ish and caramelly malt, a hint of toast and some floral hops. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, toasty notes, light fruitiness and a moderately bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. Kinda boring but quite balanced and drinkable.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Fratto (2024) - Arlington, Texas, USA - NOV 18, 2011
Bottle from Cavie. Light orange pour with a small white head. Aroma is roasted caramel and cardboard. Taste is more cardboard, kinda stale, and grainy. A little toast on the end.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 crazyvin (1573) - New York, USA - NOV 13, 2011
A nice amber body with a white head that had nice retention and mild lace. Aroma had nice caramel malts and some mild floral hops. Flavor was similar, hops were mainly floral but did have a mild bitterness to them. Finish was smooth. Carbonation was good. A decent beer that was a little two-dimensional with the caramel malts and floral hops. Still a nice session ale

Nice solid beer. Smooth and clean flavors. Standard pale flavors but a solid well balanced beer.

Bottle. Pale yellow color. Smells of wheat, hay and lemon. Tastes like a standard pale ale. Nothing special, but nice to drink
