3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 cmonster (683) - Portland, USA - NOV 4, 2010
Limited Release 2010. Bomber served in a tulip. Pours dusky amber brown with a short, brief off-white head and minimal lacing. Served cold. Sweet nose of caramel, spice, melon, and hops. Toffee sweet and medium bitter hoppy flavor. Good balance through the finish with both elements expressing themselves nicely for some time with neither showing dominance. Medium body, cricky texture, and soft carbonation. The bitterness is starting to compound itself. No complaints.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BrewDad (3700) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JAN 12, 2012
Dark amber in color, clear with a very thin head. Nice strong malt and alcohol aroma. Light malts with rye and barley comes out. The Amarillo hops are strong with this beer. Big beer and flavor. I was impressed.

Clear amber color/ ivory sheen. Pine, floral, tropical fruit, spicy toffee aromas. Medium bodied with soft co2. Classic PacNW Winter Ale flavors of sweet, warming spicy toffee, with floral, pine hoppage, and a drying finish--maybe a little sweeter than average for the style.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours copper/amber with a 3 finger foamy beige head. Aroma is like perfumey tropical fruits. Full bodied. Flavor is tropical fruit and grapefruit rind. With a little malt below. It is not at all harsh, but it surely is incredibly hoppy. Wow. Brilliant ale.
4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 michaelinwa (207) - Bothell, Washington, USA - DEC 8, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2011 Pours clear golden, with ample head, and a very big malty, hoppy, fruity aroma; really inviting beer. Flavor is malt with a nice level of fruity complexity that rises above the hops in the middle. Some bubblegum taste among the fruit. There is a definite alcohol burn in there, but it works for me. The finish is a long lasting taste of sweet fruity malt, but the hops come in strong here, thankfully, for balance, and they linger as well, but without being harsh. This is a good beer, although it tends toward the sweet side despite the hop presence. I could easily come back to this one if I were in the mood for something pushing into imperial IPA territory.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 riversideAK (4566) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Nose is nice and fruity, a little rye shows up, a touch spicy and herbal, fruity tropical hop notes, floral and peppery pine as well. Pours golden amber, nice lasting creamy head and lace. The flavor is nice and fruity up front - pineapple and mango like Tom noted, citrusy hops, floral piney dank hops, caramel, toffee, and a moderate dose of residual sugars. Sweet-ish, but with a good hop backbone for balance.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 after4ever (4500) - Brier, Washington, USA - NOV 8, 2011
22. Pours a murky dark amber with a dense and creamy but very thin off-white head. Lots of sheeting sedimentary lace. Big fruity, powerful, forward nose, showing mango, pineapple, and grapefruit. Delightfully aromatic. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, mango, pineapple, and grapefruit on the mid--palate. Goes a bit watery in spots but overall maintains good presence and nice dimension to the flavor. Big powerful northwest style winter DIPA. Pleasure to drink. Probably going to be coming back to this one a few times.

Rather a good beer for dessert. Sweetish and breadish aroma. Medium to full body. Rich with cupcake notes. Enough hop to keep it from overloading the tongue. Good on draught. I’m looking for it in bottle.

Like a sherry cooler, with some cherries or peach thrown in. Barely a head but a great sunset red color below. very smooth on the palate. some resiny hops on the outside, stewed peaches, alcohol, fruitwood smoke. sweet finish.

Very strong malty aromas dark coffee beans, darker chocolate, toasty cereal. Some resiny hops.
Taste is the same as aroma with perhaps a touch more resin hop presence in the end.
KInda thinon the palate, was expecting something more.
