COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A delightful, aged, roasty stout. Smooth and rich, yet light bodied and dry. With a hint of sweet and a pleasing aftertaste of coffee and chocolate, this stout is a pleasure to drink. N.W. Cascades and Fuggles give this stout its hop essentials. CHEERS!

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, brown, mostly lasting. Body is black. Aroma is moderately to heavily malty (chocolate syrup, chocolate milk, roasted grain), with a note of vanilla. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. Quite one-dimensional in the nose, choco-vanilla all the way, but not unpleasant. Overly sweet in the mouth, hard to drink a lot of it. Forgettable but not bad.

22 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter. Prying cap releases a blast of compressed air but the beer remains well-behaved. The pour, however, is very foamy and even a gentle pour leaves mostly foam in the glass. Aroma: some resemblance to an infected beer (hence, the foamy pour?) Flavor: mild and well balanced, with only a slight hint of infection. Trace of coffee in the finish and weak aftertaste.

From bomber. Pours dark brown with a dark tan head. Nice stouty aroma featuring a touch of coffee and malt. Nice taste that has a classic stouty coffee, malt, and mocha. A bit fizzy.

Bottle from Hop City Birmingham - pours pitch with ridiculous milk chocolate head. It’s coffee, dark chocolate, and molasses. Nice!

Opaque black pour with hints of light and burnt wood brown head. Nice roasty aroma with some cherry skin, coffee, and burnt sugar. Sharp flavor with a noticeable acidity. Lightly roasty with some fruit skins. Light dry body.

Mild on aroma light stout type hop and grain aroma... but very mild. Thin head but it last. Very dark as expected. On taste and palate spot on... pretty amazing. Nice mouth feel nice sweetness with a constant hop balance. A very nice standard stout.

A very good high end stout. Chocolatey malty goodness; thick but not syrupy mouthfeel. Delicious. 9.25 BD 8.75 Rod. Perhaps 9.9 in category.

One finger of tan head. Pitch black body. The smell is a faint roasted malt and chocolate. The taste is good and interesting. Roasted malt, bread, chalk, chocolate and powder. Low carbonation and medium to thicker body. It is a good stout with a little different taste, which is good.
