Bomber. Poured delightfully dark brown with a creamy cap of sticky tan head. The aroma picked up dry, toasted coffee, chocolate, and vanilla with fresh pine and earthy accents.. a touch of sour lactic character too. The flavor found more coffee than anything else at the core.. lesser chocolate and molasses too.. lightly sour milky notes throughout.. a little smoke in there too. Medium-bodied with a little too much carbonation that got in the way.. other than that, well-balanced and tasty.

Bomber thanks to Brewdad. Pours a pure black color with a thick dark brown head. The aroma is sweet roast, caramel and some chocolate. A very nice flavor; chocolate, bitter hops, sweet caramel and roasted malts, quite smooth and hoppy, more like a mellow stout or porter. Very good. Some ash and roast in the finish.

Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured black with a khaki head. Roasted malts on the nose. Doughy, creamy, malty. And a good smokiness there too, especially evident in the finish. Mild bitterness, earthy and chalky. Dry finish with a touch of sweetness from the malts.

Taste is roasted malt and coffee bitterness with some chocolate malty sweetness with a mild hop bitterness at the end. Medium to heavy body with decent carbonation. This is just a delightful stout and it was a pleasure to have been able to sample this gem.

Stygian body topped with a thick, lush, dark coffee head. Smoothly roasty nose is soon overtaken my black patent sootnyess. Smoky and roasty befitting Hades or a coal burning plant. The body is salty and smoky roastness. A solid, stoutly brew, but the saltiness was a bit distracting for me.
