COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A delightful, aged, roasty stout. Smooth and rich, yet light bodied and dry. With a hint of sweet and a pleasing aftertaste of coffee and chocolate, this stout is a pleasure to drink. N.W. Cascades and Fuggles give this stout its hop essentials. CHEERS!

Draught at Bier Stein. Dark brown pour with a 2 inch tan head. Roasted aroma with hints of coffee and chocolate. Flavor much the same, pretty typical stout all in all, but I’m glad this place exists in my good old home county of Yamhill.

650ml bomber pours black on color with 2 fingers of light beige head that left some hefty lacing on the glass. Aroma is dark roasted malts with hints of coffee and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt and coffee bitterness with some chocolate malty sweetness with a mild hop bitterness at the end. Medium to heavy body with decent carbonation. This is just a delightful stout and it was a pleasure to have been able to sample this gem.

Pours dark black. About a finger of light tan head. Smells rich and ashy, bit of coffee. Taste is burnt and malty, very smokey. Bit of coffee on the tail. Very, very drinkable. Good stout.

Bomber thanks to Brewdad. Pours a pure black color with a thick dark brown head. The aroma is sweet roast, caramel and some chocolate. A very nice flavor; chocolate, bitter hops, sweet caramel and roasted malts, quite smooth and hoppy, more like a mellow stout or porter. Very good. Some ash and roast in the finish.

Stygian body topped with a thick, lush, dark coffee head. Smoothly roasty nose is soon overtaken my black patent sootnyess. Smoky and roasty befitting Hades or a coal burning plant. The body is salty and smoky roastness. A solid, stoutly brew, but the saltiness was a bit distracting for me.

I love the simple logo, great aroma, taste is excellent, but the aftertaste is a bit offensive. Overall, 16/20, super beer.

Pours from a 22 oz bottle purchased at Market of Choice in Ashland, Oregon this poured black with a very attractive tan head and good lacing. Nose of roasted malts with chocolate and coffee. Medium body and good creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is rich bitter chocolate with some nice hop bitterness that carries over into the finish. A great micro-brewery beer.

Black pour, thick tan head on it. Very ashy, charred, bitter nose with some chocolate. Lots of ash, char, coffee on the flavor as well with a little sweetness and chocolate lurking underneath.
