12oz bottle thanks to my Summer Secret Santa 2012. Pours amber with about a half finger of white head. Aroma of nutty caramel with just a hint of citrus hops. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Caramel and light citrus. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, I would love to drink it again.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 AdamGott (382) - Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA - OCT 19, 2011
slight red tinge - malty sweet with some light hopping (not enough for the malt) but it seems to be a somewhat complex hop profile - lingering sugarey sweet taste - again a litle thin on the palate (similar to other Firestation5 beers I guess)

accidental purchase. I typically do my food shopping now at fred meyer and never bought beer here. I hit the traditional 22 oz section to find some NW hops, and figured I try this anyway. my ratings say it all. not much taste, tastes like a malty red bud light.

I’ve had better beers, i’ve had worse beers. This is a mediocre beer for me. Nothing to write home about.

22 oz. bottle- No head, malty, not a very good beer. Amber ales are not my style and this one is the worst that i’ve had.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 poisoneddwarf (1307) - Rathdrum, Idaho, USA - SEP 26, 2009
22 oz bottle. Smells of caramel, malt. Pours a medium head which disappears fairly quickly. Pretty hoppy for an amber. The unpleasant metallic flavor I tasted in the blonde is present here as well. Ends poorly with no head and turns watery. Tastes a little like a wet dog. Below average amber.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 CaptainCougar (7093) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 21, 2009
Bottle thanks to ditmier: Pours a transparent amber orange with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet caramel malt and a touch of toasted nut character with some mild hops. Starts with average fullness and a light caramely sweetness along with an ok balance of bittering hops. Finishes drier and lightly bittersweet. Very drinkable and smooth, but nothing exceptional for the style.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 ditmier (1509) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 22, 2009
2009 Bottle - Pours a pale orange with a good sized off white head...aroma is like a wet sponge growing all sorts of harmful bacteria...flavour is not much different, lightly bitter, a bit malty, heavily carbonated to try to cover the taste in my opinion...my drain even thought it was shit...
