Hazy light brownish gold with ample head. Aroma is fruity malt. Sweet, fruity, malty with a little caramel. Decent beer. Bitter hops are missing. Would not guess it was an IPA.

12 oz bottle. decent maltier ipa. Not overly hoppy for my IPA preference. Rather sweet and malty. Some lingering bitter. Not bad, but better IPAs out there.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The aroma is fruity/floral/earthy hops, sweet caramel malts. The flavor is sweet caramel malts, toasted malt, citrus/floral/spicy hops. A malt forward IPA.

From my secret santa. Not bad. Great aroma pine and sweet malt. Aroma is much better that the taste though. I would drink it again, but I wouldn’t seek it out.

In a bottle from Fred Meyer. Pours a dark golden color with some small floaties and a nice white head. Smell is pleasantly hoppy, but the taste doesn’t live up to the smell. A slightly bitter (non-hoppy) aftertaste and this beer is just average.

Yes, I too was lured into buying this bomber at the amazing price of under $3 from my local Fred Meyer. Am I disappointed? not really. You get what you pay for and this is an optimum example of that logic. Pours a deep golden, copper highlights, with plenty of fluffy white head. So yes, it passes the eye test. Aroma is primarily of old dried orange peel, light but dusty caramel malt and spring flowers.Tastes pretty straightforward and very simple, some light malty notes followed by light caramel sweetness, a smooth bitterness tries to round out the finish. Am left with a somewhat wet/watery sensation in the mouth. There are many much better IPAs out there that only cost $.50-1.00 more per bomber.

Bomber. Lured in by the low price.....I guess you get what you pay for. Very week IPA. Weak sauce for a brewery to label their beer with a different name. Yeah I’m talking to you Pyramid. I feel taken advantage of.

light copper gold yellow in color, lots of lacy head - aroma of grapefruit and pine - sharp and somewhat bitter pine flavor is followed by orange and malt hints - beer seems a little thin on the palate
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 muteprint (176) - Olympia, Washington, USA - AUG 5, 2011
Have to admit I was sucked in by the packaging and price at a fred meyer store. Did not know this was brewed by pyramid or I would have steered clear. Overly malted IPA, very bready in taste. Clear orange in color. Not what an IPA should look like at all. At least the alcohol content isn’t bad at 6.5%.

Pours a deep orange-amber with a smallish head. Delicious nose of juicy mandarin drenched in caramel, with just a bit of pine. Slightly malty flavor, stale hops... nice bitter aftertaste. Flavor doesn’t do the aroma justice.
