carboloader (270), Houston, Texas, USA Jul 13, 2008 From bottle. Had several of these from a six pack on a vacation in the Northwest. This was one of the worst IPAs I’ve had in quite a while (but we were also drinking Lagunitas, Stone, etc., so it obviously pales in comparison). Choked down the first one. Tasted like fat tire or something. Oddly astringent and acidic. Had my friend try one. He choked down half and drainpoured the rest. I tried a couple more later just to see if it was really that bad, and yep, it was, to an IPA fan at least. May have been a bad six-pack?? mikebeertaster (89), vancouver, Washington, USA Jul 4, 2008 Not a bad IPA. Good aroma, but tastes a little bitter in a bad way. I am wondering if I a bad/old bottle. Might have to try it again in the future. rkuhnel (980), Eureka, California, USA Jul 3, 2008 From a 12 oz bottle that says it was brewed in Ukiah, CA this poured a clear amber with medium white head and moderate lacing. Nose of caramel hops and citrus hops. Mouthfeel kind of mild but smooth. Flavor is of citrus and piney hops, Not much of a finish but some bitterness is there. OK,. SuperDave70 (652), Arizona, USA Jun 17, 2008 Clear amber pour with a foamy white head. More hops in the aroma and flavor than what I was expecting. Medium palate and a nice pine/grapefruit finish. Not a great IPA by any means, but worth the 7 bucks for the sixer. edmajorjoe (32), Vail, Arizona, USA Jun 5, 2008 I really like this beer. It tastes similar to other IPA’s I’ve had before. I would recommend it to all IPA fans.
