CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA May 10, 2007 Had on tap. Deep, dark and little head. Guiness clone. Good drinkable stout. Definitely a dry stout. Very smooth.
brianprentiss (397), Mountain View, California, USA Apr 23, 2008 this is actually a pretty delicious beer. the other beers here are average but this one is worth sampling. it’s very dry and charcoaly, but great with a burger. Taverner (481), San Ramon, California, USA Apr 16, 2008 Updated: Apr 17, 2008On tap @ the Firehouse. Pours a black with a soapy head. Flavor is a nice balanced malty stout ending on a dry and bitter note. A decent, true to form stout. ratman197 (2358), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jun 13, 2007 On tap @ Firehouse poured a nearly opaque brownish black with a large lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, bakers cocoa and vanilla. Palate was light bodied, smooth and slightly dry. Flavors of coffee, roastiness, light smoke, cocoa and a hint of vanilla with a smooth roasty finish. Ale_Drinker (1073), Sunnyvale, California, USA Mar 22, 2007 Pour is opaque black with tan head. Slight roasted malt aromas. The brewmaster was obviously aiming for a guiness-style stout because the flavors are very mild. Easy drinking and almost refreshing very smooth texture. I was left expecting more.
