COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Chocolate malted barley and brown sugar combine to produce this slightly sweet, rich dark ale. Willamette hops from Oregon give Brown-Eyed Girl a light, hoppy finish.

This has a bit of a porter aroma to it - some coffee notes - some chocolate. Light mocha colored head with decent lacing. Dark red appearance - tastes, looks and feels more lika a porter. Chocolate and coffee notes carry over to the flavor as well.

Reviewed from notes. On tap in August 2009. Pours a moderate brown color with an off white head and a bit of lacing. Good retention. The nose is some light earthy hops along with some mild roast, chocolate, and nuts. The taste is a bit roasty with some toast and light chocolate. Good medium body and a good all-around brew.
