Bottle. Aroma big on yeast, almost musty/yogurty, wheat, clove with an herbal sort of twist, and a similar floral component. Flavor is sweet-wheaty with more of the yeast and light floralness around the edges and at the swallow. Quite refreshing and tasty.

Bottle thanks to Naven. Bottled on 3/31/09. Pours a cloudy light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt, wheat/bread. Flavor is very bready/wheaty initially with a slightly sweeter, citrusy finish. Not flashy or particularly special but pretty solid. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

Bottle shared at the CA-GA cultural beer exchange hosted by alexanderj. Nice yellow, with white head. Aroma is sugary pale malt and grain. Flavor is the same, but not bad. However, there isn’t much flavor to go around either... I’m mixed on this one.

On tap at Firehouse. Cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma of citrus and banana. Banana bread taste with a clove spiciness to the clean crisp finish. An average Hefeweizen, but certainly better than the other ratings reflect.

Sent by Hayduke in a trade and enjoyed together via facebook chat. This poured a hazy dingy orange, golden, light brown. The aroma was light fruit, honey and apricots. The flavor is honey, tangerine, malt, and some wheat. It begins a bit odd but might have been too cold. As the beer warmed it became sweeter with more fruit. That all helped make this a nice beer. Some coriander emerged. This one is under rated.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is mild clove, wheat, musty. Taste is musty wheat, mild clove/spice. OK effervescence. More of an American wheat. Nice, clean, easy beer.

From the tap poured a hazy golden colr with a fair amount of head. Nice light citrus flavor with a quick finish.

Draft @ Nieghborhood Bar in Downtown San Diego. After a long day at Comicon this was pretty refreshing, decently nice aroma and smooth. Easy drinking pretty nice hefeweizen.

alexanderj (2850) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - SEP 9, 2008
Bottle shared with the previous rate golubj. Color was a dull, somewhat murky gold. Aroma of wheat, grain, banana, fruit and some flowers. Flavor doesn’t quite have the same banana; I stated in my notes it was more of a wheat ale. I guess I was right.

Pours a somewhat hazey light yellow color with a thin white head. The yeast stayed pretty firmly cemented to the bottom of the bottle. Smells of malts and some sweetness. I got a scent of banana as I put the glass to my mouth. Tastes malty bitter at first and then sweet on the finish. Thin, with crisp carbonation. Not a bad Hefe.
