Sent by Hayduke in a trade and enjoyed together via facebook chat. This poured a hazy dingy orange, golden, light brown. The aroma was light fruit, honey and apricots. The flavor is honey, tangerine, malt, and some wheat. It begins a bit odd but might have been too cold. As the beer warmed it became sweeter with more fruit. That all helped make this a nice beer. Some coriander emerged. This one is under rated.

Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Yeasty aroma with wheat, lemons and lime. Flavour had wheat, coriander, lime and lemons.

Cloudy gold color. Aroma was mainly wheat, with little spice. Pretty, but bland beer. Too American wheat.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2010 Pint on tap at Bareback Grill, downtown San Diego, great burger spot. Pours a deep, opaque apricot...pretty nice lookin hef. Well, that’s pretty much it, cuz this wheat beer climaxes more prematurely than the kid from American Pie. Aroma is sweet and sour, but that’s likely due to the lemon wedge. (D’oh! Forgot to smell it before adding the stupid fruit!) Its a mellow hef, gentle on the palate and finishes with a bit of sweet tropical fruit. Nice beer to look at, but to drink? Not so much. Meh.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a soft head. Very little smell, just a little banana, citrus, and wheat. Tastes about the same. Almost no taste. Very thin.

Bottle. Hazy dark yellow pour with a thin white head. Smells bad - some German funk in the nose. Taste is wheat, mild citrus, and that’s about it. Boring.

From the tap poured a hazy golden colr with a fair amount of head. Nice light citrus flavor with a quick finish.

Pours golden yellow with a small white head. Decent German yeast smell but not a whole lot else in aroma or taste. Just basic but not bad
