355 ml bottle. Pours a golden colour with a small head. Aroma of dry papery malts, grains and sugary sweetness. Flavour of sweet maltiness, some pear, mild grassy notes, dry hay and paper. Light bodied and low carbonation. Booring.

They say this is a pilsner but call it a blond to keep up w/ their hair color naming scheme. I shouldn’t care about that but it bothers me. Honestly, this does seem like more of a blond ale than a pils anyway so I guess it shouldn’t matter. It is cloudy yellow w/ a white head of small bubbles. It has a strong doughy malt note in the nose along w/ a touch of grassy hops. Taste is a bit sweet w/ slightly oxidized malt notes. This is full bodied and a bit heavy for the style but not bad. It finishes with some lingering sweetness and grassy bitterness. Top to bottom, this strikes me as more of a novelty label than a good beer. I don’t see myself buying this again.

Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and crisp. Light malts with mild creamy sweetness. Whisper of insipid citrus. Light dry finish. Very dull.

Smells of banana and oatmeal. Straw. Decent sweetness but then again great hops presence too. Cinnamon. Pretty good actually

Poured from a 12-ounce bottle into a Pilsener glass, this displays a light yellow/straw body with a finger’s worth of white head. The aroma is wet grass over a light cereal and bread sweetness. The malt seems fuller in the taste and so do the grassy hops. A mellow bitterness finishes the flavor off. The finish so far as the malt is rather abrupt, but a modest bitterness lingers for quite some time. Pretty good.
