3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Admission: I was sent the bottle for review. And these sat in my fridge for a while before I could get to them to note their availability in Illinois. But the pilsener here came through okay. I caught a slight note of oxidation in the nose, but that came with the slight pepper of noble hops. A light slightly biscuity malt flavor, clearly no adjuncts. Hop bitterness trickles down the back of my palate and hovers for just a minute or so. A decently done pilsener that hews to the style rather than over-hopping.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pale golden, thin white head, minimal lace.
Grainy malt aroma, light grassy hops.
Flavor is sweet bready malt, grassy hops, slight spicy bitterness. Refreshing summer brew. Not very complex, but this style isn’t supposed to be.

2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
It is an okay beer. I like the other version of this company but the blond beer isn’t the best

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very nice blond with decent flavor for a light style ale. Not my cup of tea, but a good version. Bottle

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma of mild permanent hair treatment. Pale yellow. Some medium mild bitterness but then it has some hay in there too. Probably more like a cheaper light pale lager in many respects. Easy drinken, not bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fireman’s Brew Blonde has a thin, white head, a hazy, golden appearance, and numerous clinging and streaming bubbles. Lacing is minimal. The aroma is of faint, sourdough bread, and the flavor is of the same, with mellow hop bitterness, and some sort of noticeable bite to it. Mouthfeel is medium, and Fireman’s Brew Blonde finishes crisp, drinkable, and somewhat distinctive. RJT

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
355ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma. Taste is wet strawy, a fruity, hoppy touch of lemon. Simple, monotonous, boring.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Yellow fizz, very thin, very lacking of character. But then again, well made, balanced, clean ... if you want a simple beer, then go for it. (#5965, 4/19/2015)
