3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location/Date:Bottle shared with Dave on August 30th, 2013.
Appearance: Pours an opaque black
Aroma: Aroma of heavy bourbon, faint roast.
Taste: Bourbon but not too intense, roast, coffee, some sweetness.
Summary: A nice tasty brew, but there is so much that goes into this making some of the subtler notes not easy to access to me.

Growler enjoyed during Christmas 2012. Pours a dark dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is very malty; caramel, toffee, bourbon, brandy oak, chocolate, a little alcohol. Taste is sweet with lots of bourbon and other liquor notes, some roasted bitterness as well, a bit of alcohol on the finish. Medium-Full body. Complex and huge. Well done.

Bottle: Nearly black, moderate to large frothy tannish head, nice lacing. Bourbon, oak, graham cracker, and soft vanilla on the nose. Smells like a tasty campfire treat, with liquor! Smooth bourbon, oak,
vanilla, graham cracker, and campfire on the tongue. This is reall silly, too easy to drink. Warming on the tongue, but not alcoholic. Fairly full bodied. Finishes with lots of bourbon, vanilla,
oak, and graham cracker. This one is a treat. Warming, very flavorful in its barrel aging, and just a good example of what can be done. More please!

bottle, from brewery. great aroma, sweet. malty, chocolate, caramel, oak, dark orangy brown color, good head that faded to a ring, little to no lace. sweet flavor. medium body, creamy oily mouthfeel, sweet bitter finish. WONDERFUL.....rich in aroma and flavor, I poured it slow so maybe I didn’t get best head and lace, nice mouthfeel and considering ABV it drinks smooth. Love the Firestone Walker...
