Draught at loud sports bar/restaurant in SLO. Sweet, light fruity, and malty aroma. Light coppery blond color, thin head. Initial has a mild fruity flavor/ mid is fairly smooth and balanced / mild and sweet finish. Thin body. Okay. Probably served too cold to appreciate the light aroma and flavors. Probably the least impressive beer I’ve had from Firestone Walker.

Not bad, but what’s the point? I guess every brewery has to have its easy- sipping beach beer. One that your girlfriend or wife (or both) would enjoy. But that is why Corona exists.

On draft as private label "honey blonde ale" into a FSW nonic pint glass. Pours gold with a nice pillow of white head. Lightly sweet and malty aroma. Very smooth, lightly grassy taste wit ha solid malt backbone. Nothing spectacular going on here, but a solid warm weather ale.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet light honey malt in flavor. Aroma is a light off hop. Nice sweet but a light watery flavor also. Aroma and mouthfeel are the worst. Close to sugar water.

ON tap at the Chino Hills Yard House; dark gold in color; not much white head. Aroma of honey, buttered bread and flowers; sweet. Flavor of lightly toasted bread, caramel and hints of apple. Easy drinking and actually pretty tasty for the style.
