COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s not a unique idea, but one that everyone on the Central Coast understands… Call something “805” and it means local. As a regional craft brewer we have always known that the closer the beer is to where it was brewed, the fresher it is. In fact since 1996 our brewery has been built on fresh, local beers for the Central Coast…. so we created a beer just for our locals in the “805”.

Hope you like it… FW

Meh, blah, grain corn slick butterscotch, smell s cooked cabbage. It is clear as crystal. Excellent fizz. But that’s bout it.

Rating #1594 - 26.03.2015 - Bottle from Palm Liquor. Clear golden pour with a white head with decent retention. Anyway, the aroma is quite hoppy, more leaning to a pilsner than a blonde ale with a floral Saaz bite. Taste is grass, sweet malt, but is well balanced, if a little bit on the sweeter side

12 oz bottle from Seasons 52 in Santa Monica. Dark gold and clear appearance with a white head, light lacing and active carbonation. The aroma and flavor is husky, raw grains with light floral hops and toasted malt. Light bodied, crisp and fairly easy to drink. Just a bit bland and boring overall.

Poured into a pint glass. 3.25 A: Clear dark yellow color. Two fingers of frothy white head. Retention is about average and just a few wisps of lacing are left. 3.5 S: Jasmine, orange, melon. Herbal hoppiness with notes of grassy straw. 3.5 T: Taste per above. Pleasant grainy sweetness, herbal hops, hay and straw. Orange, a touch of apricot, and some big melon. 3.5 M: Lighter body. Good moderate carbonation. Lightly creamy. Good enough here. 3.5 D: Pretty good all around. ★ 494 characters DavoleBomb, Jun 16, 2015

Pours a clear golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma and taste of clean bready malt, fruity yeast esters, and light citrus notes. Clean and easy, extremely quaffable.

Tap. Even the great FW had to do one, it seems. Pale yellow gold pour with a minor head. Soft sweet grains, somewhat buttery. Not a fan of this.

Pint at the ale house in la jolla. Ok. Little head. A bit largely. Refreshing on a hot day but pretty boring.

Damn solid. Big puffy head that dies down. Blond in color. Sweet, bitter, fresh smell. Taste follows, long bitter aftertaste is nice

Tap @ Aloha Restaurant, Ventura. Orange amber, good head. Mild cereal aroma. Grain hop flavour. Sharp with bitter aftertaste. A bit bland. Don’t think this is Firestone Walkers best style of beer.
