It’s not a unique idea, but one that everyone on the Central Coast understands… Call something “805” and it means local. As a regional craft brewer we have always known that the closer the beer is to where it was brewed, the fresher it is. In fact since 1996 our brewery has been built on fresh, local beers for the Central Coast…. so we created a beer just for our locals in the “805”.

Hope you like it… FW

Tap at Sandbar in Santa Barbara. Fluted pint glass. Lighter golden color. Minimal head. Mild grain aroma. Taste follows suit. Simple to drink. Refreshing. Cereal and grains. Mild hops but no real bitterness. I could see this as a reliable go to option if Cali was home.

Tap at sand bar in santa barbara. Dark gold with small white head. Grainy and malt. Crisp with decent finish. Drinkable which fits it’s role as a local favorite .

Bottle shared by some dick at Bills session. Urinal cake honey and shampoo are my main tasting notes for this terrible fucking beer. I remember when Firestone made some good beer......I remember.

Grain aroma, clear yellow butterscotch killed this beer. So much mouth coating butterscotch for this type of light be was not good. Expected t be refreshing but no.

Clean cereal malt aroma from a slightly hazy medium golden yellow body with a soapy white head. Nice light bready/bisquit flavor with a slight bit of sourness around the edge. Good balanced light bitterness with a slight bit of hay and citrus. Leaves a nice sweet malt flaovr behind. This is a well constructed light ale that would be a good party/beach/lawnmower beer with real flavor.

22 oz bottle. (Albertsons) Ridgecrest, CA.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Sweet caramel malt, cookies and fruity and soapy hops in the aroma. The flavour is sweet fruity hops, touch of bitterness and sweet malt. Easy Pale Ale.

Nothing special here. Decent corn and cereal flavor with a lightly bitter finish. Pretty good, but not worth seeking out.
