COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s not a unique idea, but one that everyone on the Central Coast understands… Call something “805” and it means local. As a regional craft brewer we have always known that the closer the beer is to where it was brewed, the fresher it is. In fact since 1996 our brewery has been built on fresh, local beers for the Central Coast…. so we created a beer just for our locals in the “805”.

Hope you like it… FW

Pours a clear hay color with white foamy 2 finger head. Aroma of straw, caramel, yeast. Very sweet front, fruity apple and slight bitterness towards the end with a hint of citrus.

Mariposa, Ca - Savoury’s Restaurant - 12 oz bottle. Sparkling, light golden pour, nice bubble action, tight snow-white head, nice film of lacing. Grainy aroma, hint of honey. Smooth flavor, some buttery accents, a bit of honey sweetness. Crisp clean mouthfeel.

Malt forward, dark copper beer. Malty and grainy with a little hop background. Just not enough interesting malt character to stand out--comes off as watery and one dimensional.

Hmm. I’m def far out side the 805, so the were a module loose with their trader joes distribution. Heavy on malt and malt flavor. Just enough hops for the boil. BTW looked like an energy drink in the fridge FWIW. solid meeh

Pours a clear gold with a foamy head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Spots of lace around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, honey, and some vegetal aromas. Taste is about the same. There is a mild bitterness to it. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a decent beer.

Aroma is fruity/bubblegum, which is a surprise. But otherwise just an OK lager-ish beer. Light amber, some sweetness/cereal. Fine but mild. Not the best from FW, but not bad.

Bottle. Light caramel aroma with some apricot and floral hops. Clear ruddy copper under a persistent white sheet. Sweet light caramel flavour with some light spicy melanoidins and subtle stone fruit notes. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth.
