COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s not a unique idea, but one that everyone on the Central Coast understands… Call something “805” and it means local. As a regional craft brewer we have always known that the closer the beer is to where it was brewed, the fresher it is. In fact since 1996 our brewery has been built on fresh, local beers for the Central Coast…. so we created a beer just for our locals in the “805”.

Hope you like it… FW

Unique, very drinkable beer. Moderate and soft hoppy and a mild malty, slightly sweet flavor.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is doughy, grainy, floral. Pours hazy golden with a medium white head that falls after a minute into a ring of big-bubbly foam. Taste is crisp, simple, refreshing, dry. Highly carbonated, medium body. Definitely the most simple beer I’ve ever had from this brewery. Tastes good and well-made, though; definitely a lawnmower beer.

Gold with a white head. Nose is honey, sweet, malty, and crisp. Easy palate, sweet, honey, bready malts, floral finish.

Keg at weird Mexican dive bar in oceanside. Okay, it’s called Stoney’s. Clear gold with weak foam. Nose is apple juice box. Taste is apple, paper, sugar, juice box. Uh.

Pours a yellow-light orange with a half finger white head with a little lacing. Aroma is of biscuit malts, bread, sweet malts, light grassy hops, and light grassy and pine hops. Taste is similar to the aroma but a bit more robust. Has a medium-light body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, slightly bitter, medium, crisp finish. Overall, a decently tasty golden ale that is a nice session beer on a hot summer day.

Tap. Clear golden with white head. Aroma of bisquity malts, bread and small hops. Taste is slightly bitter bready and slightly fruity, nothing too interesting but good session beer!

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2014 Bottle. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma is wheat and apricot. Taste follows and has a weird funk. Medium mouthfeel and little carb. Not wonderful.

Bottle. Light brown. Sweet nutty malt aroma. The taste adds brown sugar and light pilsnery malts. Good stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Firestone delivered a decent blonde. This beer has a lot of sweet citrus notes. Goes down smooth but feels a bit heavy in the belly. I would suggest it for the summer season.
