Appearance: Pours an amber brown with a white ring of head.

Aroma: Sweet tart candy, bready malt, grandmas house.

Taste: Bready malt ,tartness. Vinegar.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied modest bubbles.

Overall: I’m not the biggest DBA fan, this is slightly more interesting, but not one of my favorite sours they’ve been piloting.

Pour on tap at Tap n Handle, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of vinegar, sour fruits, slight acetic acid into a bit of funk, earthy, almost a trashy note into some slight caramel. Taste had a mix of caramel, mix of grass, some funky, earthy, weird fruity notes into a bit of toffee, slight vinegar, acetic notes, finishing fairly spicy, funk, slightly tart. Not really a fan.

Light brett nose with a faint grape and oak tones. Pours the color of dark honey or burnt orange with small white head. Taste of sour wine with some caramel and some oak. Medium palate with a dry finish. Could be better balance, still a good sour brew.

On draft at Whole Foods - Chandler. Light Brett nose with a faint white grape and oak tone. Pours the color of dark honey with no head. Odd mix on the taste of Brett, wine that’s gone sour, a hint of vinegar, some caramel, and. heavy oak. The flavors fight with each other; it lacks symmetry. Medium palate with a very dry finish. Decent but not fantastic; I’ve liked all the other Barrelworks brews I’ve tried much better than this one.

Tasty. Not too pucker-face but just enough. First time I've had it and I'd drink more of it Basically, sour, but not too sour. --- RATED

Échantillonné du Extreme beer fest 2014: Mince en bouche mais avec une certaine rondeur. Noyau et chair d’abricot, mouvement acétique et amertume de pamplemousse.

Tap at barrelworks. Clear light amber, lots of foam. Tart aroma, fruity, maybe cherry but it is not distinct to this novice. Bit more of the lactic note in the taste, bread aftertaste. Decent, not wild about it.
