(Batch 2) Smell is just bursting with raspberry candy. Fantastic. Taste is just as good as the aroma with some yeastiness at the very end. Absolutely fantastic. Batch 2 is incredible.

Bottle thanks to dogday. Mostly clear reddish orange pour with a small bubbly head that fades away completely. Amazing aroma of raspberry purée, vinegar, light sour funk, cotton, yogurt. wet hay, and light brett. Tastes moderately sour. Huge raspberry puree and vinegar. Light acidity. Good amount of funky yogurt and brett taste too. Moderately tart finish. Medium body. Surprisingly smooth. This is probably my favorite sour Ive had since I love raspberry and vinegar. Could slam this all day too.

Bottle at home with Dina. Pour is clear orange with a big white head that quickly dissipated. Citrusy, funky, slightly cheesy, lacto, some wood notes, light spice, and tannins in the aroma. Taste is salty, briny, a lot of lactic acid, fruit skins, lemon peel, and sweaty socks with a big sour finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Not bad, but a little too salty and briny for my liking.

super hard to pick a favorite at barrelworks, but if I HAVE to, because of the fantastic raspberry nose on this, it gets the nod. solid across the board but the nose is sublime!

EBF Boston mars 2015.

Sample at EBF. Pinkish pour pour with thin pinkish foam. Aroma is really rapberry forward, fresh fleshy raspberry, light raspberry leafiness, citric aroma. Taste is juicy, lots of juicy raspberry, bright citrusy acidity light lactic notes, not unlike Solstice d’été. Palate is light bodied, very dry. Good stuff.

Beau produit.

Pours a pinkish gold with no head. Aroma of raspberries, oak and funk. Taste is sour wheat, lemons, oak, raspberries and funk. Raspberry presence is just right, not over the top like many raspberry sours
