Pours a clear golden with a medium white rim that leaves low lacing. Nose is of raspberries, seeds and jam, and red wine. Taste is of raspberries and oak and a little too acidic for my taste but nothing bad. Body is light and carbonation moderate. Overall a good but simple raspberry sour.

Bottle (375 ml). Split with the Québec crew. Thank to Matt for this one!

Appearance: Clear golden with pinkish reflects, a small white head and little to no lacing.

Aroma: Bright raspberries but like it’s often the case with that fruits it takes a lot of place. There’s also brettanomyces, light leafy notes and floral notes.

Taste: Raspberry forward with the other components being rather mild or subdued. There’s brettanomyces, moderate tartness, herbal/floral presence and light acidity. It really taste like a Rosé.

Palate: Light to medium body. Lively carbonation. Moderately tart and dry finish.

Overall: Quite unidimensional, but tasty and enjoyable nonetheless. The raspberries are showcased and there’s enough other interesting (despite being mild) components to support it. The name they choose couldn’t be more accurate.

Tasting at Bruce’s. Thanks to our host for this one. Almost clear gold beer, no head. Palate is dry and crisp. Fairly tart with lemon acid. Some relief from orange and peach. Mild wet wood. Crisp dry finish. A bit sharp for my taste.

Bottle big thanks to Bruce. It pours clear light orange with a quickly dissipating white head. The nose is soft, juicy raspberry, berry yoghurt, straw, hay and parma violets. The taste is crisp, tart, raspberry, lemon sherbet, some acidity, fresh, good mouth-pucker, lights florals, straw, parma violet, chalk and minerals. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and refreshing. Very good.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Bruce. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Nice aroma with some fluffy pale bread, juicy ripening raspberries, faint lemon. Light sweet flavor with sharp tartness, mellow seedy bitterness, fairly vibrant raspberry character. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Bracingly tart finish with sturdy acidity, dry pale bred, low bitterness, lemon rind. Very refreshing and drinkable.

375ml bottle pours semi clear red pink with small fizzy head that fades fast. Nose is tart juciy berry, light oak spice, touch of grainy toast crust, oak, subtle funk, floral berry fruit. Taste is tart medium high acidity, huge jammy raspberry and sweet mixed berry fruit notes give way to lingering tropical fruit juice, Hawaiian Punch, and some light toasty oak spice. Quite tasty and well definied.

Bottle. Dark pink-orange, like a ruby red grapefruit. Hazy with some large particulate. Slight fizzy head. Aroma begins with raspberry purée, bright and fresh, then follows with soft earthy wheat. The flavor is equally raspberry-forward, and the tartness seems to come more from the fruit than the yeast. Tartness is mild; finish is crisp. Incredibly drinkable -- the 12-ounce bottle is a tease.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours cloudy and rosé with a fleeting, white head. The nose offers huge raspberry fruitiness and a nice level of breadiness. Medium-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor is sour as Hell - loads of clean acidity and tons of raspberry fruitiness and tartness. Crisp, acutely tart, drying finish. Big-time THANKS to 50bleair for sharing this world class brew with the south Florida crew!
