A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Cant be done. Weve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. Youre left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

35.5cl bottle on 16/05/15 poured into a pint glass. Cloudy amber in colour with a large tan coloured head which quickly dissipates. Light to medium carbonation. Medium body. Aroma of biscuit malt and hops. Taste of malt, the sweetness of honey. Fruity, bittersweet with a long lingering taste on the palate. A good version of an ESB although a little too sweet for my taste.

Big, malty and sweet. Beautiful color. Taste is sweet, malty and you can definitely pull the barrel out of it. Drinks super easy. Ive always seen this and have never tried it but its really good. If you like sweeter English style ales this one kicks ass.

Draught at the Firestone Walker Barrelworks, Buellton, CA.
Clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Sweetness, biscuits, mild malt and wood in the aroma. Sweet malt, biscuits and mild hoppy bitterness in the flavour. A bit boring.

Strange malts and wierd sweetness. Both malts and sweetness overpower what ever hops are in this. Not a fan at all.

Firestone dba bottle from woori super for most likely too much money. Brewed in sept. 2014. Pouring a dark amber with a thick foamy beige head. Its got a nice biscuity malt forward nose. Nice crisp clean lightly bitter maltiness. Tasty everyday type beer.

Bottled March 19, 2015.
Glass: Carton teku.
Appearance: Deep orange/copper hue with great clarity and a sparkling body. The head is light tan and very creamy looking.
Aroma: The aroma is mild, lightly floral with mild vanilla and caramel aromas hints of dark fruits and faint cocoa.
Taste: A bit malty leaning with a mild hop presence. Flavors of caramel and mild syrupy cherry are noted along light vanilla, toast and biscuit flavors. I get a light foral hop presence.
Palate: Medium bodied, sharp carbonation.
Overall: What a great beer! I really love the balance and complexity here. Super drinkable, Im glad this is in NJ now.
