COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

A very flavorful pale ale. I love Firestone Walker's double barrel aged beers, and this is no exception. This beer was 5 months old, so I feel it lost some of its hoppy character. A good blend of malt and barrel aged goodness. Can't wait to try this fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rating #1590 - 24.03.2015 - Bottle from San Diego trip. Pours a dark amber with a foamy off-white head that dissipates slowly, medium-strong retention. Aroma is mild toasted malt, hints of wildflowers. Hop presence is significant, giving the bitter character, but the breadiness of the malt is what makes this beer. Creamy mouthfeel Well balanced, medium bodied ale that is easy to drink.

1/17/16 Chicago (12 oz bottled 7/7/15 poured into standard pint glass). Amber / copper pour, mild quickly dissipating tan head with mild carbonation. Mild malt aroma and taste. Beer has solid texture, and you feel it going down. Solid hop and malt taste, somewhat bitter and nice rich taste.

Decent ESB. Long lasting lacing. Dark, clear copper coloring. Didn’t get much on the nose - just smelled like a beer. Malt, slight oak, and toffee tasting. Smooth. Easy drinking.

On tap at Yard House- Red Rock Casino, LV. Pours a clear dark copper color with a small head that lingers throughout. Aroma of roasted malt, toffee and vanilla. Taste of toffee, roasted malt and and oak with vanilla. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, smooth with a nice English ESB character. Very enjoyable beer that is "spot on".

Bottle from Total Wine, Sterling VA. Deep amber, with a decent, off-white, head. Sweet, caramel malts, some hedgerow fruits, oily hops and a semi-bitter finish. A bit heavy going, but ok.

Enjoyed on tap in a tulip glass at Reed’s American Table in Maplewood, clear copper colour with weak off-white foam, lasting with lace. Malty, bready, biscuity, caramel, hint of toffee, classic English-style marmalade hoppy balance. Earth, wood, vanilla. Medium body and carbonation, nice round mouthfeel. Extremely smooth, multi-layered, well-balanced, nuanced. Delicious, so easy to drink.

12 oz. bottle. Crystal clear pale amber with off-white head. Lacing lingers on the glass. Aromas of malt and traces of oak. Taste: lightly toasted malt, oak, toffee and fruit notes. Gentle bitter finish. Solid beer.

Purchased at Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours an amber colour with a warm cap and decent lacing. Hoppy fresh grass aromas with fruity malts. Fruity malts taste as well with some nice grain, middle bitterness and caramel. This is quite a nice fruity, but not over-the-top ale.
