A very flavorful pale ale. I love Firestone Walker's double barrel aged beers, and this is no exception. This beer was 5 months old, so I feel it lost some of its hoppy character. A good blend of malt and barrel aged goodness. Can't wait to try this fresh.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki, courtesy of Thomas. Clear orange color with white head. Sweet malty aroma, fruity citrusy, light berries and strawberry too, dusty yeasty. Sweet and bitter taste like the aroma, malty with a pilsner like bitterness. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.355 l bottle. Amber color. Aromas biscuity caramel, vanilla and some distant fruitiness. Taste of toasted biscuits, mellow caramel with drying woodyness in finish. Light bodied with carbonation on a low side, very drinkable. Slightly too much caramel for my taste, but this leaves a very positive feeling.

great citrus with a slight caramel aroma blend, dry, malty core on the palate, as drinkable as it is tasty

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber into a pint glass. Pours an orange amber, with a large white head that fades quickly. Decent lacing. Nose is faint aroma of malt and bread. Taste follows the nose, but is watery. Small hop bite on the finish. An average session beer.

Deep golden, almost amber pour. Might be the horrible lighting though. Big white head. Plenty of lacing. Nice peppery malt aroma. Taste is my and hops. Dry finish. Good.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours orange with a large white head that recedes to a thin white foam. Aroma is bread and fresh cut grass. Taste is fresh, sweet caramel and some slightly off flavour (cant tell what it is). Quite watery. Not my favourite.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Faint aroma of sweet breads and malt. Amber color with a tan head. Rich sweet malt up front. Very sweet...not balanced well with bitterness until the finish. Medium mouth feel. Finish has a balanced bitterness that is smooth. O.k.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours light amber with white head that lingers. Virtually no aroma. If anything, slight oakiness. Taste is boring. Hardly any maltiness, no hoppiness just a little subtle Oak. Overall, simply caloric water

Amber clear with a big foamy off white head. Oak, vanilla aroma. Caramel, vanilla, slight spicy hop. Really excellent beer but tough to get a high rating, just well executed. My biggest issue with this beer is that the name reminds me of the database admins at work.
