COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

as this beer goes down it very smooth and light and my mom doesn’t even make a face when she tries it. the after tastes is strong and woody on your palete and it ends with a very crisp taste this beer leaves you wanting another drink

American take on a traditional English ale style, with medium thick, egg-white, lightly lacing, moussy, irregular head eventually reduced to a wafer thin rim and nothing else, and clear, beautifully deep warm amber robe. Pleasant aroma of freshly toasted bread, barbecued chicken, smoked paprika, tomato concentrate, green peppercorns, dried red berries, vague vanilla, toasted peanuts, caramelized sugar, mustard seed, radish. Clean, rounded fruity onset, redcurrant, apple and dried orange peel, softish carbonation, smooth and lightly oily, very supple body; notably nutty malt middle with a bitterish toasted edge, reinforced by mild wood tannins, drying the back along with floral, peppery and leafy Old World hop bitterness, bit tonic water-like in the very end, perfectly balancing out the restrained dried fruit and nutty sweetishness. Very elegant, balanced, tasty beer, indeed resembling a bottled English bitter of the ’higher’ ESB class, but adding a toasted oak dryness which blends in very well. Recommended, like all of Firestone Walker’s beers.

Translucent mahogany hue with a transiently present white head. Prominently robust aroma with notes of caramel, toffee, malt, dried fruit, and citrus. Mid bodied with an eminently silky texture. Absolutely delectable. Dried fruit, roast, mild chocolate, vanilla and caramel are all present throughout with a slightly dry and sweet finish. Pleasant indeed.

7 week old can from Mixed 12 into a tulip. A: Deep crystal clear copper tea color with 1" of tight beige head, quickly falling to a film. Patchy sheets of lace. S: Malty scent of fallen leaves and earth. T: Much like the smell, earthy, leafy hop taste. Lightly sweet maltiness. A hint of orange is most welcome cutting and lingering through the toffee and tea. M: Light body and stiff carbonation despite a bit of sweetness. Finish is a little sticky though. O: Can’t find much fault although nothing really stands out. A nice, light easy drinking autumn beer imo.

Pours a clear light copper with a medium head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of yeast and a bit of malt and grass. Not very strong though. This beer tastes like a wheat beer, which isn’t my favorite. I will say that this beer is pretty clean in the mouth. Overall, I’m not thrilled with this beer, but I think I just don’t like the style, so it isn’t necessarily a knock on this beer.
