COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Had this on tap and really enjoyed the oak notes, which came off slightly nutty and slightly caramel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Aroma is biscuit, light fruit sour, wet dust, fresh rye bread. Flavor starts a bit metallic but goes support well balanced with dry grain malt and super clean bitterness. feel is watery but clean with a nice silty end. So awesome. I want this beer everyday.

Meh. Was expecting more. Not much in the way of aroma. Had it on tap and it smelled like a lager. I will say it stayed true to the English style. Nice deep amber color with medium head. Medium carbonation and weight. Smooth to drink. The flavors were mild, malts with some caramelized sweetness and a slightly bitter finish. Went well with BBQ, just not that special.

Tap pours clear goldish copper with foamy of white head. Light grainy Semi sweet grainy and near lager like with a smooth crisp element and bittering earthy feel, a touch of nutty palate with a tiny bit of cream. . Hardly any barrel notable, very easy drinking tho, pretty solid.

Bottle from Tria in Philadelphia, PA. Picked this beer on the merit of FW alone, but learned there is always an exception to a rule.

Bottle. The look is clear, copper colored, and a decent off white head. The smell is malts, bready, touch of fruit, caramel, and earth. The taste is malt, toast, easy, sweet, and caramel.

Citrus, apple aroma; with some caramel malt, that is stronger in the flavor. Also some moderate sweetness, and a little bread crust. Similar fruity flavor as in the aroma.

On tap. Pours a dark amber color with an off-white head. Just a slight malty aroma. The taste is malty with a slightly oaky taste. Finishes very clean and smooth. Nothing too special but not bad either. Better than average overall.

Pours clear light amber with a medium white head. Smells lightly biscuity and lightly piney. Taste is mildly bitter and ever so slightly sweet. Light-to-medium bodied with a slick, wet texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Firestone Walker Double Barrel Ale finishes with soft biscuit and honey sweetness.
