COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Bottle. Has the look and first taste of an excellent beer but the aftertaste and smell bring up hints of a cheap mass-produced beer. All-in however it's a good bold taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an eligant hint of English noble hops. There was a time Bass Ale was fabulous then faded liekly to its wildly popular demand . No fear Firestone Walker continues to insure consistency of Quality. Aroma: Caramel and Vanilla, toasted oak wonderful flavors from barrel aging in oak. Appearance: British pale ale in honor of Burton-on Trent style pale ales Taste: Hide the car keys this one is super easy to drink with lucious vanilla, toffee, mild oak, and a elegant hint of English hops Palate: Yum!! would not change anything Overall: Firestone Walker won the Mid size brewery of the year several years for this Delicious offering reasonably priced as well. formerly with an all royal blue cap and labeling Firestone Walker is now carries a red label DBA next to its classic lion and bear figures in fighting pose but make no mistakes the same great tasting British Ale here in America that in my opinion gives the old classic Burton-on Trent a solid run run for the money. Unbelievably available in twelve packs for only $12.99 plus tax Trader Joes offers for $8.49 a six pack. $1.10 for a Barrel aged ale of this quality? wow!!! An absolute must for Fish and chips night with lemon and malt vinegar , tarter sauce not to over killed with prickles, Good home fries and a couple of these and you might think your in a classic English brew pub on a Friday night. Sharing with others dance and song very likely happens with joy. For those who miss the old Bass Ale and its greatness hear is a classic ale that will easily fill in and leave your wallet happy as well. Firestone Walker has also decided to stop brewing for others and devote their time to themselves and t heir products which is smiles for every lover of great brews. A definite must to try if you like pale ales with the classic caramel,Toffee and light oak tones paired with a hint of English noble hops. Better if kept cold as with many and some merchants stock this warm in the sunlight which is a shame to dishonor such quality and hard work. Cheers!!

Clear, reddish amber with white head. Sweet aroma. Very carbonated, almost light beer feel. Crisp. Pretty good.

Bottle bought at Albertsons in Los Angeles. Poured a brown golden ruby color. The head vanished instantly. Aroma is sweet malt and caramel. Taste is pretty much the same: malt, caramel and nice low bitter finish. Refreshing. Overall a well made English style ale. Nothing mind blowing, but tasty.

On tap at brew festival. Appearance: pours an off white head which slowly falls leaving light lacing. Color is a cloudy amber with moderate streaming carbonation. Aroma: caramel, medium roasted barley, earthy hops. Mouthfeel: light and watery, pleasantly dry finish. Flavor: Toasted bread crust, nuts, and caramel, pungent earthy hops. Overall: very well done in the English style. Most enjoyable.

Taste - cookies, toasted bread and honey with mild bitterness, a bit soapy aftertaste. Nice and much better than previous 6/3/7/3/13 3.2 18-07-14 Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvikar. Aroma of caramel malts and wood. Sweetish with malty and stale earthy hops flavors, low bitterness. Pretty dull. 5/3/5/3/10 2.6

Pours amber close to red with a white head, small fizzy bubbles but it stays nonetheless. Smells of toasted oak and vanilla, other than that regular beer. Light bodied and creamy the carbonation level is just a notch below the creaminess. Roasted oak malt, bright English hops and a vanilla flavor from the barrel aging. Not overly complex and much more sessionable than other ESBs. Finishes dry, I really think this hits the spot for what you’d want in an ESB without overdoing it.
