3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draft at square burger. Pours a dark amber with a medium off white head. The aromas are oak, bread, light citrus. The mouthfeel is dry slightly bitter and has a medium body and good carbonation. Good beer. Cheers!

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Iíve tasted a couple of ESBs and not really liked any of them. DBA is OK, but not my favorite. I canít place the smell - not really an "aroma" - and the taste is bready with some goofy hops mild bitterness. Not for me, but certainly the best of the style that Iíve bothered trying.

Bottle from Total Wines, Bellevue, Seattle, WA, USA. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, malty aroma. Tastes similar, fruity, malty, bitter, quite English. It is OK.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Smells acidic, like vomit. Looks like beer. Tastes like something old British people would drink at room temp. I have to figure out what to do with the rest of the 12 pack.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice, smooth, well balanced ale. Not much aroma. Reminds me more of a flavorful amber, which is not a bad thing. Mild hops, citrus, but more aftertaste of biscuit. Creamy mouthfeel.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Appearance: Pours a clear amber color with great lacing.
Smell: I get a lot of malty caramel notes with some citrusy hops.
Taste: Very bready, sweet, and creamy with a little hop presence in the end.
Mouthfeel: Carbonation is light and is very easy drinking for a English Pale Ale.
Overall: A great take on English Pale Ales. Sessionable beer making it easy and refreshing to have more than one.
