COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Bright copper color. Sweet, spicey and basement aroma. Smooth, sweet flavor with a nice dose of oak. Well balanced toffee malt, spicey hops and dry wood. Very quaffable.

On tap at Hilltop in Phoenix. Clear dark copper with thin white head. Caramel malt aroma with light hoppiness Taste is sweet with a slightly hoppy dry finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Decent beer, but not too exciting.

Shaker pint draft at Martin City Brewing Company in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is mostly clear brown copper, with a well formed ½ inch off white head. The aroma is ever so slightly roasted caramel, floral, fruit sweetness, all pulled together with a light wood aroma. The taste is a nice balance between the caramel fruit lightly sweet malt, the floral hop notes, and the overall soft wood. Some pleasant earthiness is evident in the long finish. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation, and a mouth coating finish that eventually clears with sweetness and wood. Nice transition of flavors, well constructed beer.

Pours well with a good head. Dark amber in color. It has a light sweetness, a medium bitterness, and is lightly sour. It has lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. It is a good beer.

This beer has a very mild aroma and an amber color. It has a very smoky taste. The hops are subtle but distinguish this beer well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Absolutely perfection for the eye - a deep copper color is topped with an a thick, yet airy, creamy white head. Taste and mouthfeel are classic English red ale. Overall impression is of an expertly crafted beer, with no weak spots, but also nothing about it to make you crave it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle bought in Boulder CO. Clear copper, off-white head. Aroma has some sourness, biscuity malt, some floral hops and minor oak notes. Slick and almost oily, lightly fruity sweetness with a mild bitterness, some sourness as well in the taste. Was expecting much more.
