COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Two fingers of head. Clear, copper colored body. Smells has a nice dose of caramel and pine. Good. Taste lets the malt come through nicely. Mildly sweet with just a bit of bitterness. A little citrus. Texture is smooth, short of creamy. Really nice for a pale ale. Drinkable and tasty.

Bottle into English pint glass, clear deep ruby’ish copper color with light tan head. Aroma notes of toffee malt sweetness, toast, fruity, honey and some oak. Taste adds caramel, vanilla, nuttiness, cracker malt and light earthy hop bitterness. Light-medium body, low carbonation, creamy, dry with clean fruity oak finish. Excellent wood aged ESB, tastes bigger than its ABV.

Aroma: Subtle toasty and woody malts Appearance: Thick copper colour and medium sticky head like bubble Taste: Rich toasty and light sweet taste of malts and a little bit hop-bitter Palate: Some sticky medium body, slick tender texture, light carbonation, and subtle toasty & woody finish of the barrel Overall: Really nice balance. Good barrel ale, also one for session.

bottle pour amber caramel red color with not much head..nose has nut like character mixed in with some caramel malts..not getting as much from the so called vanilla and toasted oak flavor intertwined with the hops, not a giant fan of ESB style so not really thrilled by this..light bodied, creamy carbonation decent offering..slight nutty extract qualities in the finish

Pours clear reddish copper with an off white head. The aroma has toasty malt, light fruit, some toffee, spicy / grassy hops, mint, mild oak and a nice brightness. It has a medium / light body with crisp refreshing carbonation. The flavor begins with dry crackery malt, some phenolic spice, woodiness and an earthy english yeast. The finish has grass, mint and spicy hops notes, dry toffee and crusty bread. Really nice ESB.

From the taproom. Orange color with small head. Some old world hops in the aroma. Toffee, some vanilla, mild and light, with still quite a full body! Nice!

A very attractive beer. Copper, bright tone, thick staying head, thick retention, nice lace. Perfect appearance. Fruity (dark ester profile fruit), with a touch of toffee. Mouthfeel starts full and creamy, then feels a bit light. Still it is nice. Not much taste. Much more impressed than I thought I would be.

Appearance: medium, clear amber, with a short, creamy, light tan head and no lacing. Aroma: mild smell of caramel malts, light vanilla, some stone fruit, and grassy, earthy hops. Taste: malt presence hits first--it’s like an unsweet, toasty rustic brown farm bread; there’s some mild fruits (apricot, raisin, pomegranate); rounds off with earthy, slightly musty hops. Finish: short and balanced, with the malt character forward; palate is perfect, the beer is extremely easy drinking. Notes: Not a bad version of the style. Bottle courtesy of Zoltan.
