3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dangjdangel (30) - - NOV 24, 2012Nice DBA, similar and yeti familiar at the same time. It's a light beer than pours amber with minimal head, can taste the hops and complexity of the brew at the beginning but it mellows out to a familiar taste at the end.

Had this on tap and really enjoyed the oak notes, which came off slightly nutty and slightly caramel.

Draught. Aroma is biscuit, light fruit sour, wet dust, fresh rye bread. Flavor starts a bit metallic but goes support well balanced with dry grain malt and super clean bitterness. feel is watery but clean with a nice silty end. So awesome. I want this beer everyday.
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 kevinator (325) - The Colony, Texas, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Meh. Was expecting more. Not much in the way of aroma. Had it on tap and it smelled like a lager. I will say it stayed true to the English style. Nice deep amber color with medium head. Medium carbonation and weight. Smooth to drink. The flavors were mild, malts with some caramelized sweetness and a slightly bitter finish. Went well with BBQ, just not that special.

Tap pours clear goldish copper with foamy of white head. Light grainy Semi sweet grainy and near lager like with a smooth crisp element and bittering earthy feel, a touch of nutty palate with a tiny bit of cream. . Hardly any barrel notable, very easy drinking tho, pretty solid.

Bottle from Tria in Philadelphia, PA. Picked this beer on the merit of FW alone, but learned there is always an exception to a rule.

Citrus, apple aroma; with some caramel malt, that is stronger in the flavor. Also some moderate sweetness, and a little bread crust. Similar fruity flavor as in the aroma.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lemke10 (540) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - APR 30, 2013
On tap. Pours a dark amber color with an off-white head. Just a slight malty aroma. The taste is malty with a slightly oaky taste. Finishes very clean and smooth. Nothing too special but not bad either. Better than average overall.
