A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

On tap, pours a hazy copper color with a thick off white head with great lacing. Smells of caramel, oak, pine, and sweet malt. Tastes of all the same things in the smell. Mouthfeel is light and creamy and pretty chewy with good carbonation. This an interesting tasting amber ale. Fermenting the beer on oak made it unique and tasty.

Tap @ Bombolini. Light brown with creamy and head lots of lacing. Smells a tad citric/metallic then bready with a light hoppiness. Tastes more on the malty side with a light hoppiness. Light hop finish.

Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is a buttery English style malt and not much else. Flavor is full of decent earthly and bready pale malt. Finish is pretty watery but nice malt profile. Nothing spectacular for Firestone but this is a pretty decent English style beer.

Pours dark brown and clear, thin creamy head that fizzes away soon. Bitter, slightly woody flavour. Light bitter taste, not much vanilla that i can notice. Not really my style of beer so may be unfair to it but it seems a bit bland.

12oz bottle from Good Spirits Co. Rich red orange brown, good head. Leafy toffee grain aroma.Dry biscuit flavour with a hint of liquorice. Well balanced bitter sweet aftertaste. This is a classic English bitter made in America.
