3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased at Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours an amber colour with a warm cap and decent lacing. Hoppy fresh grass aromas with fruity malts. Fruity malts taste as well with some nice grain, middle bitterness and caramel. This is quite a nice fruity, but not over-the-top ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pour into pint glass from The Drinkery, Londonderry, NH. Aroma is yeasty dough over bready malt, caramel, vanilla--a little unfinished smelling (like wert). Appearance is hazy orange-brown with less than finger-width head, trace sparkle and minimal lacing. Taste is caramel, bready moderate sweetness with tinge of oak. Palate is medium bodied with smooth texture and carbonation slightly on the lively side. Finish is sweet with a bit of oakiness. Overall, a decent beer. A bit on the old side so may not be the best rating.
