COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Canít be done. Weíve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. Youíre left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Bottled. A amber beer with a large and creamy white head. Aroma is malty and caramel. Taste is malty, notes of toffee, vanilla, wood. Toasted and sweet. Dry finish

Bomber shared with a bunch of random colleagues of my wife. Iíve had this before, but never rated it, so tonightís the night because tickers gotta tick. Lovely clear chestnut pour. Toast, bread, malt-driven but with a nice, lightly bitter hop presence in the finish. Medium- body, average carbonation, creamy texture. Overall: just an easy-drinking forgettable beer. Not a knock against it at all, just not the kind of beer to write a lot about, more the kind of beer to drink at a party and forget completely about.

Appearance: pours with a medium beige head, moderatly dense, the beer is a very clear lighter amber color Aroma: kind of smells like an industrial lager, not good Taste: caramel malty sweetness, light bitter finish Palate: average carbonation, slight bitter aftertaste, light mouthfeel Overall: tried this at a bar poured in a glass out of a bottle, smells like a bud light but tastes like a slightly bland fat tire, probably wouldn't get again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to Justin. Nose is lightly grassy with a noticeable mineral note. Taste is moderately bitter with a lightly toasty malt. A solid bitter. Not really picking up any wood character though

Deep copper, light tan head. Fairly clear. Smells of sweet citrus fruit, light floral notes. Some light roasted grain notes, coffee. Lightly bitter, moderately sweet. Beautifully balanced, lighter body, some light carbonation, a touch of acidity and a fairly short finish. Quite good.

Clear cooper pour with light tan head. Flavor is typical ESB but cleaner, toffee caramel malt, not sweet, earthy flavors. UK type of hop character. If all ESBs were as good as this one I could say I like the style. Double version must be great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This was a little disappointing. I liked the smell and the look, and was expecting the same great taste of other Firestone beers, but was left wanting more flavor.

Iím not really getting bitter/ESB. But I am getting a very flavorful brew, particularly for the ABV.

Copper/Amber pour - one finger white head that holds its own. Nose is toasted malt, woody, mild bitterness. Flavor is similar - roasted malts at the forefront, slight nutty flavor, bit of wood, vanilla in the background. Mouthfeel is good - creamy without being heavy. Good, easy drinking brew!

12 oz bottle from BOTW, served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear deep copper with a decent light tan head. Aroma: British maltiness with some butterscotch, toasty malts, a little caramel/toffee, creme caramel, a little woodsy/floral hops. Palate: Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flav.: Stark/dry British malts, toffee notes, diacetyl, woodsy hops; dry with moderate bitterness and a buttery, British malt finish.

Fairly competent.
