A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Poured out of the bottle. Thin head, not a lot of carbonation. Flavor is malty with a slight toasted note, touch of bitterness. It’s ok, not that great IMO.

Bottle. Pours clear copper/amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is toasted and caramel malts, fig, light woodiness, and some faint cocoa. Flavor is dry malt base with smooth floral and grassy bitterness and faint dark fruit notes with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and carbonation.

355ml bottle from Saveur-Biere. Bottled on 08/26/14.

Clear copper colour with a white head. Aroma of malts, hops, and bread. Hints of metal but kinda nice for an ESB. Nothing special though.

Pours clear amber with a lasting off white head. Caramel, and nuts with a floral and herbal hop aroma and taste. Lasting but not over powering bitterness and a woody astringency in the after-taste. Slight herbal, almost tobacco flavour as it warms up.

355ml bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Malty, minimally oaky aroma, some spicy yeast, flashes of fruity, British hop with hints of red and yellow berries. Taste is fruity hoppy, hints of red berries, a touch of gooseberry, slightly sweet biscuit malty basis, a cautious touch of vanilla and oak; soft palate. Very clean as is typical for FW.

Bomber shared with a bunch of random colleagues of my wife. I’ve had this before, but never rated it, so tonight’s the night because tickers gotta tick. Lovely clear chestnut pour. Toast, bread, malt-driven but with a nice, lightly bitter hop presence in the finish. Medium- body, average carbonation, creamy texture. Overall: just an easy-drinking forgettable beer. Not a knock against it at all, just not the kind of beer to write a lot about, more the kind of beer to drink at a party and forget completely about.

Appearance: pours with a medium beige head, moderatly dense, the beer is a very clear lighter amber color Aroma: kind of smells like an industrial lager, not good Taste: caramel malty sweetness, light bitter finish Palate: average carbonation, slight bitter aftertaste, light mouthfeel Overall: tried this at a bar poured in a glass out of a bottle, smells like a bud light but tastes like a slightly bland fat tire, probably wouldn't get again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to Justin. Nose is lightly grassy with a noticeable mineral note. Taste is moderately bitter with a lightly toasty malt. A solid bitter. Not really picking up any wood character though

Deep copper, light tan head. Fairly clear. Smells of sweet citrus fruit, light floral notes. Some light roasted grain notes, coffee. Lightly bitter, moderately sweet. Beautifully balanced, lighter body, some light carbonation, a touch of acidity and a fairly short finish. Quite good.
