Mahogany pour with a thick soapy off white head with lots of sticky lacing. First sniff was a bit of booze vanilla oak and touches of maybe a bourbon and some light syrups. Full well coated palate nicely creamy. Flavor is like a buttery rich esb. Syrups butter and a lightly bitter toffee finish.

2oz bomber thanks to Jimmie. Poured a hazy dark orange amber body with an average sized foamy off white head. Aroma of English toffee, old caramel, alcohol, old wooden barrels, slight licorice, fruity overall. Medium mouthfeel, softer carbonation, and a lingering aftertaste. Flavor of toast, English toffee, caramel, dry soda bread. Solid.

Thanks for this one, Dak. Shared with the Tampa crew. Pour is light brown, not much for a head. Aroma is tons of honey, bourbon, caramel and toffee. Boozy. Taste follows suit with plenty of caramel malt and light vanilla and bourbon. Oily mouthfeel. Pretty nice, as expected from FW.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was another solid offering from Firestone Walker. It smelled like stale honey-nut cheerios. The taste was full of dry bitter oak, honey and spicy alcohol. Pretty heavy, malty and fun to drink.

Bottle poured into glass. Can’t remember who brought this bottle, but thank you! By this point of the night my palate was starting to get shot, but I tried my hardest to maintain. The hops still lingered but weren’t up your face, there was more malt presence then anything. I good beer but nothing super special.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours murky amber with a thin white head. Aroma is big sweet caramel and toasted marshmallows. Flavor is rich caramel, brown sugar, some woody notes, enough hops to keep it from becoming to sweet, with some boozy notes.

Unique beer. Pours an amber brown color with light white head. Aroma is heavy malts and berry sweetness with nice barrel character. Taste is fruity and spicy with well hidden alcohol and a nice lightly sweet finish.
