Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

@ The Ginger Man ŕ Manhattan. Une bičre jaune avec un peu de mousse. Un simple avec du jus de citron. Elle est peu lactique et passablement facile pour ce type de bičre car l’acidité n’est pas tranchante. Facile et sčche.

The fruitiness up front works well, malt blends then fades. Chewy, robust mouth feel. The finish has an element I can’t define that detracts from the experience. Solid but not on par with Wookey or Union Jack.

Pours a crystal gold with a small light head. There is a strong sour hop aroma as well as lemon. The beer has a nice crisp, light, bitter flavor which hangs on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours with a thick white head, that leaves tons of lace on the side. Golden and clear. Pine and spruce notes, with caramel. Strong bitter flavor with a sweeter tone on finish. Full-bodied with some heat from the alcohol and a decent amount of carbonation. Lots of fun in the bottle, but I be the fresher draft version is even better.

Bottle. Pours super clear. I could a newspaper through this beer. Nice white head and some lacing. Nose is lots of pineapple and citrus. Taste is same with some nice malt sweetness. Lasting pine bitterness in the aftertaste. You can not taste the 9.5%. One of the best!

22oz bottle - Completely surprised that my local grocery store began carrying this, because quite frankly this is the type of store that caters to swill drinkers. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth (what an odd saying), I bought this and Speakeasy’s Double Daddy and enjoyed a Saturday evening at home. So, the beer pours out a brilliantly clear, golden yellow body, tight bubble stream and airy, light 1-finger white foam cap. Aroma is just a beaitiful display of fresh hop goodness. Juicy grapefruit abounds with a stunning showcase of fresh, floral hops, minimal malts and some showing of alcohol. The hops continue to pound the senses on the palate, with an onslaught of ripping, shredding, grapefruity hops. I haven’t had a palate wrecker like this in quite awhile, and it was a pleasure to consume. The malts seemed to relish in taking a backseat to the hops, which also seemed quite alright with being the star. So easy to enjoy and so easy to recommend. I think it’s a stellar example of a classic West Coast DIPA and couldn’t suggest this one enough. Kudos to Firestone Walker!! Job well done.

Pours a clear dark orange with no lacing. The aroma is orange, tangerine and other citrus notes followed by pine.

Közepesen száraz, nem kimondottan keserűség-orientált ital, a hangsúly sokkal inkább a mesterien kivitelezett, minden elemében magával ragadó, elmélyült ízvilág lebilincselő jellegére helyeződik. Boróka bogyós, sárgadinnyés lecsengéssel búcsúzik, karaktere emlékezetes marad, mintegy etalonként szolgál a műfaj egyéb képviselőinek vonatkozásában.

650ml bottle. Clear copper, long lasting white head, excellent lacing. Aroma is very hoppy, lots of fruit, tropical. Flavour is very hoppy, some alcohol, malty, alcohol. Warming hoppy mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carb. Finishes long, hoppy and malty. A very drinkable DIPA, very nice.
