COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

Originally rated on 8/13/14. "A clear-ish, deep copper body, with a fluffy white head that leaves some pretty good lace. Aromas of piney, and lemon citrus hops with biscuit and caramel malt notes. Subdued malt sweetness with cereal and honey, a bold hop bitterness throughout the taste. Mouthfeel is ’light’ for the style, but i like how easy it goes down.A very nice, well-rounded IIPA. High ABV is well hidden, but you can feel it pretty quick. Overall a really nice brew.

Bottle from brewdog online
clear amber with offwhite head collapsing to lacing piney, pithy full bodied, sticky, prickly carbonation, dank and herbal, boozy, warming sherbet. Too sweet and heavy

Newport News, Va - Farm Fresh Supermarket - 650 ml bomber. Sparkling medium golden, light orange pour, long-lasting sticky off-white head, with a trace of lacing. Resiny, gummy hoppiness in the aroma with a strong spruce presence and some fruity undertones, Flavor has a solid hop/malt balance with some light citrus bitterness, a large does of caramel sweetness, a touch of nectarine fruitiness, Nice, thick rich mouthfeel. Very solid,

Bottle from Cornelius. Pours a coppery gold. Pale for a DIPA. Nice to see. Rich aroma! Floral. Fruity. Resinous. It’s got it all! Not too heavy, just layers of lovely hop character with a bit of syrupy malt and a wee boost of alcohol warmth. Bit hot in taste. Alcohol squares up to you straight away. Then a measure of medium-sweetness coats the mouth. Punchy bitterness leaves an impression. Some orange and pineapple notes in the flavour. Wee bit too much carbonation for me..... just to be picky. Sticky mouthfeel on the finish. Awesome stuff. A big beer!

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Pale golden coloured with a thin white head. It has a pineapple and orange flavour, malty and citrus notes followed by slight tropical fruit, pine and orange on the finish. Awesome!

Large Format - Orange color with a nice white head of foam. Has an almost weird smell to it, sweet, orange peel, caramel, almost like hard candy. Lots of hop flavor that hits you and lingers for a while. Flavor lingers on the palate and slowly dissipate. Flavor is very similar to the smell.

Bottle 65cl kindly shared by Calisky. A clear copper beer with good head. Nose is on exotic fruits, coconut oil and pine. Aroma is on blond caramel, very sweet, vanilla, coconut, almond, peach, mango, hops resin, alcohol is well hidden. Finish is very sweet, fruity and bitter, too much intense on my point of view.
