Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

Full thick hoppy ale that I will buy often. Beautiful orange amber color with long lasting white head. Medium carbonation and very easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Near perfect Imperial IPA. Nicely balanced hop bitterness with sweet citrus fruit cover the high ABV nicely. Ill take another.

12 Oz bottle. Clear yellow-orange with a frothy white head and decent leaving. Dank hop aroma, herby and piney. Medium sweet flavor with lots of hop character, herby, piney and mild citrus. Hop bitterness ballgames of malt well. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, super delicious is a. Great balance.

Bottle to glass. One of my favorite easy to find double IPAs for sure. Huge resiny juicy tropical fruit hops in the aroma. Big fruity hop kick in the flavor as well, but a bit of an astringent bitterness. Big beer with well hidden ABV. Long lingering tropical fruit sweetness and a nice bitter on the back of the tongue. Always tasty.

A very fine beer. Sweet but not too sweet, hoppy but not too bitter and with amazing flavors of chocolate, citrus, and some earthiness.

Poured into a snifter, pours a slightly hazy golden color with an eggshell head that clings. The aroma is of floral hops and you can get a little residual sweetness from the malts and a touch of pine. The taste is much like the aroma, the floral hops with the sweet pale malts on the forefront with a nice piney bite at the end of the sip. Mouthful is appropriate for the style and is overall a great beer. It’s what a west coast IPA should be, great hop blend that gives you great aromas and tastes, a bit of a bitter bite at the end but not totally unbalanced or undrinkable. Great DIPA

From a 22 oz bomber, bottle date 12/08/14. Enjoyed late January, 2015. Pours a golden orange, 1-2 finger soapy off white head. Ample carbonation, bubbles streaming up sides. Aroma is just nice, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, all kinds of citrus. I hate to use this word, but it’s just juicy. Taste follows the aroma, citrus and pine. Hefty amount of malt here keeps the bitterness pretty low. Super easy drinking. Carbonation makes it prickly in the mouth, but I like it. Sticky on the finish. Currently the best big IPA I’ve had.
