COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

No mistaking this beer on the nose. Hoppy character jumps out of the glass and smacks you in the face asking for its money. Nice dark amber color to it but the head leaves a bit to be desired. The taste is hops through and through with a touch of raw dough. Grapefruit pith, burnt citrus and pine needles leave a great bitter ending that lingers around.

Aroma is big, piney hops with strong grapefruit and citrus notes. Massive earthy/leafy bittering hops with a pleasant fruity zest. Very bittering hops with a formidable bready malt base falling into a strong presence of alcohol. Overall, this is a serious brew with massive hops. Id give this an A+ rating.

bomber picked up in vacation in CA; i got more piney than citrus in aroma. thick palate - taste - definitely felt the hop kick and booze; the more I drank the better it got (it packs a punch) - very hoppy but not bitter with strong malts; this leans to the hop side; well made beer but too much to be my fav ipa..

On tap at Flying Saucer in KC on 7/21/2012. Pours a clear golden orange with a thick off white head. Aroma is hops, malts, and citrus. Taste is piney and bitter with a malty and honey sweetness. Awesome beer.

750 ml bottle. Pours a yellowish dark brown with a nice white head. Smells like citrus, flowery hops and fruits. Tastes like citrus, cereals, caramel. Quite sweet. Nice citrus finish, very resilient citrus taste. Medium bodied. Very good IPA.

Bomber from BevMo. Highly hopped nose. Some pine and citrus with a little sweetness. Full flavored hoppiness. Very well balanced with a solid maltiness. Finish is grapefruit. Very good brew.

Floral, piney hops on the nose. Nice dark golden hue. Good balance in the flavor, with a little sweetness. A little too carbonated.

Pours clear copper orange with a substantial white head. The aroma explodes with citrus and pine and a very subtle hint of light sweet malt. Taste is strong bitter, with some solid tropical fruit flavors. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Firestone Walker Double Jack IPA finishes with a spicy bitterness.

Great head with a dark golden color, nice aroma with great hop kick. Doesn't get better that this.

The hop bill on this one was very good, but there was nowhere near enough malt to carry it through. this one was a bit too hop water-like for my tastes.
