COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

Aroma is a sweat Carmel with piny citrus and a little hint of alcohol. Pours a dark orange color with off white head leaves a nice lacing and very carbonated. Taste is kind of sweet floral with a little pine. Very clean on the tounge goes down smooth for being 9.5%. Overall this is a very great beer I found at the liquor store in salt lake.

Bomber. These Firestone guys have yet to disappoint......another stellar beer. This specific one is toward the top of my list of IIPA’s. I tiny bit too malty but otherwise awesome.

Bottle at home. Hill Farmstead Glass. Fridge Temp + a few degrees.

A - Clear golden grown, white head.

S - Lots of malts, big nice smelling malts. Burning hop bitterness. Lots of grapefruit and citrus. Hint of pine cones.

T - Wow. Alright, aside from the obvious that a 9.5% IIPA is "malty", it’s a big beer. It lingers for a long time with huge maltiness like eating croutons. I get lots of grapefruit and tangerine peels. I get some pineapple and lots of pine sap. finish is this floral sort of relaxed light flowery delicious aftertaste that coasts my mouth. Very nice!

M - 20% carbonation, medium body (surprisingly). VERY bitter.

O - It’s lacking the balance of Heady topper or the bitterness of Pliny but it’s a solid offering in the big IPA category.

Bomber courtesy of GT2. Thanks man! Pours tiny hazy golden with a small frothy and creamy offwhite head that is rather quick to dissipate while leaving a thick trace on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet, hoppy, fruity and tiny herbal with bread, orange zest, pine, mango, pineapple, peaches, lemon zest, lemon balm, lemon grass, crackers, lime juice, grapefruit rinds and fresh grass. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter and fruity with mango, pineapple, cape gooseberries, lychee, lemon balm, grapefruit juice, unripe peaches, wine gums, gooseberries, bread, alcohol, orange zest, lemon zest, crackers, pine, resinous wood and grapefruit rinds. Mouthfeel round, oily bitter, tiny astringent, tiny dry and near full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with bread, pine, grapefruit juice, moist soil, unripe mango, unripe pineapple, orange zest, lemon zest, crackers, green grapes and hints of gummi candy. Very nice...

Pours a golden amber with a two finger head that fades quickly. Nose is pine with mild citrus. Taste is the same but with a sweet malt balance. Excellent beer! I will be buying this again.

Pours a peachy gold with a 2 finger, slightly chunky off white head. Aroma is big on toast, biscuit, and caramel, with some cereal and grainy notes right away, the hops coem in a bit light, but pleasant, floral, citrus, light tropical and a hint of tart berry bite. Flavor is sweet caramel, light toffee, biscuit, sweet malt, cereal dusty hay, then the hops, sweet and bitter citrus, some pine, light tropical, floral and hints of pine to the finish along with something that tastes a bit like I would imagine reduced, mixed melon juice tastes like. Medium body, sugary entry to slick, slightly dry finish with a moderately coarse, light carbonation. Good stuff, though it seems like it may be a little past it’s prime, but the date stamp is not properly applied, so it’s impossible to tell, though I am fairly sure it was bottled @ 16:55.

Gold, quick-fizz eggshell head, blast of sweet citrus aroma. Upon closer inspection, aroma also has bitter pine elements and light malt caramel. Flavor is equal parts pine sap and orange/grapefruit citrus. Light malt sweetness is generally overshadowed here. Somewhat boozy and hot, especially after sitting for a while. Medium-thick body with coarse carbonation. A great IPA; the aroma makes it! But the bitterness (when warm) is just too much for a great score.
