Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

On tap at Brewdog Camden. A transparent golden coloured ale. Thin off-white head. Floral aroma with citrus fruits, especially tangerine and lime then honeydew melon and avocado. Full bodied. Bitter flavour with ripe cantaloupe, pine, damp wood and earth, tropical fruits, biscuit and tea. Long, moderately bitter finish. Overall, very balanced and very tasty.

Bottle sample. Clear deep yellow color, nice head. Amazing aroma of fruits (citrus, melon, lime), grass and earth. Alcoholic flavor with high bitterness. Medium body, oily, long finish.

Nice clear deep golden, orange with a nice off white fluffy head that disappears quickly. Aroma is very hoppy with nice piney, grapefruity notes. Taste is very balanced. I get a nice maltforward body with a slight caramel sweetness. And of course there is a big hop profile onj this on with grapefruit and piney notes. I also get some orange, tangerine, other fruits that I can’t pinpoint. A nice balanced DIA with a good hop profile!

Huge hop aromas and flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, citrus zest, cat pee and florals, with rich layers of honeyed malt bread. Rich, concentrated and balanced. Long, lingering flavors of tangerine, citrus rind, honey and cling to the palate. A classic IIPA. Nothing surprising, though nothing wrong. A dependable beer. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

a very delicious double ipa i think this one wasnt as fresh so the hop aroma had died down and could have been better. in fact i have had fresher or tap beers that were more crisp and aromatic. but still one of the best double ipas

In bottle at Bens. Pours a dark golden colour with a fair tan head. Aroma of pine, pineapple, passion fruit, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Fairly bitter. Lovely.
