COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

Paleish orange pour with mild head, some lacing Good hop aroma fruity, sweet bready, pastry malt, tangerine, some floral, somewhat musty fresh fruit on the tropical side papaya/coconut etc.. Taste is hoppy with dry malt not quite toasty but a bit dry, sharp citrus hop sting on the tip of the toungepretty huge tangering taste and a rhindy orange/grapefruit type bittering some menthol/herbal-maybe the alcohol behind it.Id be curious how this ages. Strongly hop flavored/bittered with big tangerine taste upfront citrus some floral and in bittering with grapefruit or orange rind with sweet malt lurking in thebackground-overall.Id rather try the regular ipa-this is a double im not real huge on.I just wouldnt run out and get another bomber too soon.

This is a great beer. Has a sweet taste, followed by the hoppy bitterness. Love this stuff. Bought a growler of this a week ago, highly recommend it.

From bomber. Pours a clear rich golden color with a small white head and tons of clinging and lacing. Piney resin-y hops, peach, biscuit , and soap on the nose. Taste had a little too much soapiness for me to fully enjoy, which is too bad because I thought the pine/peach contrast was unique. The mouthfeel is nice on this one, sweet, good carbonation, smooth citrus/resin finish.

Really enjoyed this one. Super piney aroma to me. Good sour orange aftertaste. Really like this one, just sad my glass is almost empty and the next one will be bought next time I visit the US.

I enjoyed this quality beer poured from a large bottle into a trumpet glass. The beer had a rich aroma of citrus, spices, pine, and a bit of clove and some grassy notes. It was a clear, light amber-gold color with a big foamy white head that had good retention and a lot of cling and lacing. Its taste had a good bitter graininess, with a presence of alcohol, and a touch of sour citrus flavor; it was not sweet. The beer had a thick mouthfeel and was very fizzy with good carbonation. It was a very dry beer, strong, and best for sipping.

22oz bottle poured into tulip glass. Bottle on date 1/5/12 (95 days ago) Aroma: oranges, peaches, bubblegum, lemon, lime, hint of grapefruit Appearance: Very clear pout and 1 finger frothy off-white head that faded slowly. Taste: medium sweet, mild sour, medium bitter Palate: medium body, thin texture, slick. lively carbonation. mildy bitter, sweet, and slighy sour finish. Very light and crisp. Refreshing. Overall: I like this. More aroma and flavor than Union Jack. Less bitter as well. Surprised at the 9.5%, would guess closer to 7.5 to 8%. This beer is very well balanced without being too sweet nor too bitter. Will pick this up again and try to get a fresher bottle.

Pours with a citrus aroma. Dense gold color. The malts are apparent after an initial bitterness. Finishes smooth. The big alcohol content is apparent throughout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
