COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

Very bitter double IPA, if you like bitter, this is for you, probably the most bitter dipa I have ever had, nice flavor to it, but bitterness dominates and takes away from the taste IMO, but still worth trying, top notch.

Bottle @ Morten minus Peter smagning, Ulfborg. Pours cloudy golden with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose and flavors are heavy grapefruit and pine. Green hops. Very dry and bitter. Smooth. Ends really dry.

Love this Double IPA. Great pine aromas with a hint of citrus. Great bitterness that fades away. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A straw-colored hazy beer with a medium cream-colored head that sticks around and leaves lace. Aroma is amazing juicy fruity hops - strawberry, grapefruit, orange. Some pine too. Flavor is a good amount of fruity hop, atop a serious caramel maltiness. Finish is bitter, alcohol well hidden. Great beer.

Pint @ Chuck’s. Incredibly hoppy aroma. It stings the nostrils. That said, it doesn’t leave any fuzzy feelings in my mouth. Palate is incredibly smooth. More balanced than I would have expected. Fantastic.

Appearance: beautiful brilliant golden oranges under a voluminous pithy head, tight and in no hurry to disappear. Mousse-like with random bubbly pockets. Lace surrounds.
Nose: orangey hoppy juicy freshly squeezed goodness. Mango, kiwi, and guava squeezed for my pleasure. Husky in the back. Hop cones in the back. Kiwi grows as initial chill dissipates.
Palate: hits the spot! Mango, kiwi, and guava. Lemon rind in the finish along with inner ripe yellow banana skins. Tropical flesh into tropical skins for lingering juicy husky bitterness with a rawness to it. Honeycomb with more comb than honey. Tangerines freshly picked and juiced.
Final Thoughts: clean and delicious. Firestone Walker inspires and teases because I can’t get any here in Florida. One of the tasting highlights of our Massachusetts vacation. Juicy hoppy goodness.

Poured from the bottle. Color is light and clear. Thin head and limited lacing. Aroma smells like fresh hop pellets right out of the bag. Smells like Amarillo hops, so I’m Curio us what they used. Flavour is nicely buttered probably around 90 ibus. Palate is thick and oily, not as dry as you would expect from the high abv. Overall a awesome beer!
