3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Reviewed from notes. Poured from a bottle into a CBS snifter.
A. Pours a deep orange color with a 3mm head, rests after 30 seconds to some slight bubbles around the edge and a thin ring. Slight lacing on the glass.
S. Smells of grapefruit, sweet and ripe orange peel, mild pine and lots of other citrus.
T. Tastes if lots of grapefruit, tangy citrus, tart and sourness of the grapefruit coming through, slight bits of orange and a hint of pine.
M. Medium body, mild carbonation, wet feeling and a hint coarse.
O. A good beer. It wasn’t anything out of this world. I’ve had many better DIPA’s. It’s worth a try and tastes good, but not something to go searching for.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fantastic dominant spiky pine nose. Clear pure chrystalline golden body with a thickish fluffy rocky head. Controlled but wickedly warped raw grapefruit like dry bitterness which cuts and aggressively cleans the palate. Great strength and suppleness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear gold. Thin, bubbly, white head. Nose is dank, and resinous. Lots of ripe orange. Peach juice. Some savoury in there. Taste has an initial hit of sweet, turning dank, oily bitter. Full bodied. Oily. Decent prickle of carbonation helps the drinkability. Sticky on the lips. Finishes long, resinous, chewy bitter, with that sweetness lingering until the end. Big and drinkable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle pours out a golden topped with a nice head. Nose is great hoppy pine citrus and some sweetness. Taste is more of the sweetness hoppy combo. Wow this is a tasty treat and helped my hop need.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at PSBH, Manchester. Golden/amber shade. White head. Slightly buttery caramel malt. Waves of interesting hops: grassy, spicy and floral. Not really fruity, however. Very bitter. It’s big and the strength is easily felt, but it is well balanced. Not much wrong with it per se, I just prefer a softer and fruitier (I)IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Drinkmonger. Clear golden body with a white, fading head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, orange, menthol, peach and pine resin. Flavour is very sweet - maple syrup and sugary tea - with a tangy, slightly peppery finish. Medium body with a very oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. This has a nice hoppy aroma and flavour from the dry-hopping but it’s low on hop bitterness. It goes down easy for 9.5% ABV. For me, it’s verging on Barley Wine territory.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Great DIPA , reall fresh hops on the nose, sherbet hits on the tongue, and the bitter finish slices through the 9.5abv. Great beer

Draft - FW has this down. Nice citrus, piney, and slightly floral hop aroma and taste. Super solid sweet malt back bone. So glad these are starting to come in 12oz bottles.
