3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Decent double IPA, hoppy, sweet, stays on the palate. The hop flavor at the end is a little off putting

Poured into a snifter, pours a slightly hazy golden color with an eggshell head that clings. The aroma is of floral hops and you can get a little residual sweetness from the malts and a touch of pine. The taste is much like the aroma, the floral hops with the sweet pale malts on the forefront with a nice piney bite at the end of the sip. Mouthful is appropriate for the style and is overall a great beer. Itís what a west coast IPA should be, great hop blend that gives you great aromas and tastes, a bit of a bitter bite at the end but not totally unbalanced or undrinkable. Great DIPA

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
From a 22 oz bomber, bottle date 12/08/14. Enjoyed late January, 2015. Pours a golden orange, 1-2 finger soapy off white head. Ample carbonation, bubbles streaming up sides. Aroma is just nice, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, all kinds of citrus. I hate to use this word, but itís just juicy. Taste follows the aroma, citrus and pine. Hefty amount of malt here keeps the bitterness pretty low. Super easy drinking. Carbonation makes it prickly in the mouth, but I like it. Sticky on the finish. Currently the best big IPA Iíve had.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
CBC 2014. Golden with a thick and lasting white head. Citrus hoppy aroma, with lots of orange and some lime, along with pine notes. Cryish citrus hoppy flavour with bready malt. Very bitter, but not in an aggressive way.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fluffy white head, 2 1/2 fingers in depth. Hazy appearance and orange-yellow in color. Aroma is grapefruit and other citrus flavors w/ a malty backbone. Flavor is grapefruit, other tropical fruits, pine needles with a caramel backbone that moderates the bitterness. There is also a sweetness, possibly honey along with herbal notes. Great IPA

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from cellarbrations super store in hami hill. Pours orange with a thick creamy head, leaning lots of nice lacing. Aroma is resinous and citrusy. In the mouth it has a medium body and moderate carbonation. Taste is aggressively bitter with loads of grape fruit and tangerine. One of the best I've had!

4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Very good ipa. Lots of citrus and grapefruit flavor and a good malt - hops balance. Just bitter enough and highly carbonated -- does not drink like it has a 9.5 abv!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Quite bitter, not the usual hop heavy double, lighter feeling as a result, but still with that big ABV. Heavy on the tongue but I love the golden hue.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle dated 10/30/15.
For today, this was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Lotsa nice foamy lacing stuck finely to the glass.
The smell had a sweet sticky grapefruit-esque leading to fine subtle juicy citrus and decent underscore of pine to balance.
The taste was pure bittersweet and refined to a sly subtle sticky citrusy conglomeration of pine. The aftertaste was mainly bitter that lead to a slightly dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body. 9.5% - really? Maybe closer when its fresh, not necessarily now. Still good and has a decent substantial carbonation to pound my tongue into submission.
Overall, pretty good DIPA that I would have again. Iíll definitely seek fresher my next chance.
