Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2013 Bottle at a buddies house. Pour is beautiful bright orange with a white head. Although the bottle is 2+ months old, the citrus hops are still pungent and delicious. Floral, citrus(tangerine) hops but has a damp aftertaste that makes it seem flat. However I still feel like I?m drinking liquified hops. Re rate 4 month old but was kept refrigerated. Tasted fresher than the 2+ month beer. Don’t know why

Excelente aroma. Extraordinaria cerveza

12 oz bottle. Bottled 11 June 2015, enjoyed 16 September. Clear deep golden to orange color. Off white, uneven head. Aroma’s: piney, citrus, soft fruit, with a malty backbone. Retronasal it’s caramellish, malty, resinous, herbal. Flavor is rather bitter with quite a bit of sweetness and light fruity sourness. Rather strong alcohol feel, warming. Medium bodied. Finish is rather bitter (could have been a bit more bitter, but maybe it was when it was really fresh).

Draught @ Rattle’N’Hum. Clear amber with small foamy white head, floral hops aroma, low carbonation, taste starts sweet continuing with hoppy bitterness, long bitter finish. A good DIPA.

Bottle from Rehills of Jesmond. Pours amber with a big frothy cream head. The aroma is big,p and juicy with plenty of pineapple especially. The taste starts sweet with a fair amount of spice and juicy tropical fruits before a big lingering bitter finish with stacks of resinous pine. Nice full mouthfeel. First class beer.

Golden hue with a lacey white head. Sweet caramel nose with a hint of peaches. A battle between sweetness & bitterness, this beer melds the two perfectly. Sticky toffee pudding vs. pineapples & limes. Lovely. Rated by BrewTom
