3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz picked up tonight at Brewer’s Haven for about $2.90ish.
Great foamy lacing atop a crystal clear golden brew...
Nose shows tropical fruit hoppiness.. melon and tangerine....slight bit of pale malt helps pull the hops up front...
Surprisingly restrained hand on the bitterness... hop flavors though are the big player... wonderful... vibrant...
Body is a solid medium... carbonation is about right... but could use a bit more bubble on the finish....
This is a huge winner... again, expensive for a DIPA, but I dig it... Very happy FW is making inroads into the Boise market.

Excellent XXIPA. Hoppy aroma and peppery hoppyn bitterness. Some alcohol catches me off guard. Overall great beer and will have again. Oh BTW it was in 12 oz bottle

Wow. Great flavor. Enjoyed the balance. Slight alcohol on palate but not over powering. Loved the pour. Always enjoy Firestone.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a bright gold and clear with a quickly receding white head. Aroma is caramel and lemon-centered. Taste starts off caramel sweet with citrus and stone fruit behind it. Finishes sweet with lingering bitterness. Medium-heavy bodied with a lot of sticky sweetness. A little alcohol heat, but it’s hidden behind the sweetness.
Overall: Decent, but a bit too much on the sweet/caramel side to be really drinkable. The finish especially is sweet and a little syrupy rather than crisp and dry. A good DIPA, but not one of the more drinkable ones.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Cloudy pale amber color, creamy head. Caramel infused resiny aroma, sweet floral notes and fresh peach juice, slightly acidic grapes. Heavy maltiness with plenty of caramel flavor, but not sweet. Bitterness could be stronger, but this was an aged individual. Highly resinous finish. Almost full bodied, frothy texture is fresh. Very good!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a small but lasting white creamy to frothy head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is of resin, rich tropical fruit, floral and citrus. Lightly sweet and medium bitter taste, with flavors of juicy grapefruit, honey, sweet tropical fruit. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation and a lightly bitter and long finish. Solid malt backbone and not hint of alcohol. Wow.

Bomber poured a clear golden color with white head. Lots of pine and grapefruit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Some herbal and earth tones on the finish.
